It does disconnect when you flip the switch ON, (you can feel it let loose), and reconnects when you flip the switch off on level ground. I tested it on ramps before took it out on a trail, one under the left front tire and one under the right rear. Flip the switch and the bronco levels out...
I added the factory disconnect and wired to a 10 amp switch. It works great, although I've noticed that the solenoids get a bit warm to the touch when the disconnect is on. 10 amp is the lowest amp switch and the 15 amp makes it event hotter. It hasn't failed yet. Knock on wood. If it does...
Sorry about your bad experience. It doesn't sound like they got the tune loaded. I have a MY23 and the ASS does stay off. I didn't notice a big deference in power but there is a slight improvement in the throttle response and shifting. I think you would at least notice the new shifting strategy...
I'm joining the club. Got all the same alarms this morning (ABS, Hill assist, Parking assist, Adv trac, etc.) but it corrects itself after it sits a while. The dealer can't do anything. They are aware of the codes through Ford Pass, but they can't diagnose unless it is actively showing the...
Thank you. I thought it might be the same but I just gave it the ole "good and tight", because I didn't have enough room to torque them from the ground.
The install went well and it works great, but I have another question for those that have gone this route. After I tested it and pulled it...
I'm installing the e/lock sway bar today. I've searched the front end torque spec thread and I can't find the torque values for the upper nut on the sway bar links. Does anyone have those specs?
Just ordered! I didn't get BigMeat's price but it will be worth it. The part number has changed from MB3Z5482C to MB3Z5482X. Thank you for this write up and video!!
I hear it as well. Slight throttle and it sounds like rod knock. I guess it's normal since so many of us are hearing the same thing. Either normal or Ford has a very expensive recall coming soon.
I installed Cobb's IC on my Raptor F150 and will probably to do the same for the Bronco. Biggest benefit, as mentioned several times already, is cooler IATs than stock. When accelerating hard, temps would drop quiclky and very close to ambient temps. Another benefit, your turbos will spool up...
Better performance = more NVH. Some are better at keeping NVH at a minimum, but never as good as the stock rubber. I like the arms that use the Johnny Joint . Top notch and hard to beat, but I have been looking at the Carli control arms. They have a similar joint that is rebuildable. I hope...
I don't even have 1k on my 23 yet and noticed rust as well. I plan to treat with POR 15 soon. The stuff works great and easy to use!

I can't help loving the V8 sound! Raised driving many F150s with 302s and 351s. I traded my v8 2014 F150 in for a Raptor F150 and although the Raptor was a much better truck with a lot more power, I missed the sound of the 5.0l. The 2.7 makes good power and I have nothing to complain about...
