Alternatively, you could get the wheels that meet your performance / design needs. Then, just have them powder coated / cerakoted / painted any shade of blue you want.
Remember backpacking with pals up Tuckerman's to the summit of Washington and then staying up there at the Appalachian Mountain Club huts at Lakes of the Clouds and Madison for a week. Just awesome in the summer time in the evening. So quiet and peaceful.
Take a look at this owner manual and case combo for the Ford Bronco (example at https://ownermanual.net/products/2022-ford-bronco-owner-manual-car-glovebox-book?rq=yr_2022~mk_ford~md_bronco). If you go to the top of that page, you can search for you own specific auto's manufacture/model/year...
Really depends upon your personal expectation of overlanding. However, the current definition by Overland Journal.com is 'Self-reliant adventure travel to remote destinations where the journey itself is the primary goal. It typically involves using off-road capable vehicles, like modified...
I knew that the KO2s were so-so in the wet. Coming from performance cars wearing Pirelli, Michelin or Yokohama Advan’s, I know what good adhesion feels like. My Bronco stepped out on me a couple of times in the wet, usually under acceleration from a standstill (e.g. a traffic light) but once...
I had a vertical crack in the exact same spot caused by a loud “smack” of a flying pebble/stone on I-70 in Maryland. It didn’t run to the bottom edge nor continue to run up the windshield. It just remained the same length. I kept an eye on it to see if it would get worse and it never did. That...

Beautiful shots of New Hampshire! Loved backpacking the Presidentials with my buddies and staying up in the Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) huts as a teen. Was this trip earlier in the Spring? Don't remember encountering snow atop Mt. Washington in June.
David, what size Dometic fridge did you install there in the back? Also, tip-of-the-hat to you for being a medic. (I did 26 yrs in the Army Medical Service Corps.)
It just sounds like the officer was not “up” on your DMV’s recent plate color manufacturing technique. Kudos to you for being cool and cooperative. It does beg the question whether other departments’ officers will also be confused by that plate of your travel out of state.
Hi All (and Ford Motor Company if you're monitoring this thread), I too am adding myself to this group of owners' who have discovered a Front Differential Seal leak. It was discovered today, 16 May 2025, at my dealership during a service to perform an oil change and to complete manufacturer...
Feel your pain man; these are great all-utility trucks. But it looks like we’re going to be self-imposing tariffs and other protectionism policies for at least the next three years.
