    Tell them you want them to address SSM 53981. My dealer said they needed to test it and replaced if it was deemed appropriate. Got a call to pick it up 3 days later with the fix done. Mush more solid windows going over bumps.

    Hate Nothing. Don't like Ass, but easy fix. Didn't like the window flop. SSM took care of that. B&O could have been better, but way better than my wife's Jeep. Parking Brake position is stupid. Love everything else.

    Picked mine up today… Ran over bumps (seam gaps on a creek bridge) that I knew I got the slap bang on before. Pretty solid. It’s sill a frameless window and shook, but no loud CRACK that I normally got on these bumps.

    Generally, toughness is increased with Chrome/Ni content, which 4340 does over 4140. But what I would be looking at is cross sectional stress risers. IE where the snap occured and the geometry adjacent to the snap point. Without that geometry, hardness is a second guess
