You guys might wanna look a little closer. There is barely any paint on the door panel just above the hinges. Mine does not have that issue and I wouldn't be happy if it did. These thing are built kind of rough but visible missing paint is a whole other level.
:rolleyes:Painted plastic often doesn't look exactly the same as painted metal on a car. Brand new cars will often have bumpers that aren't exactly the same color as the rest of the car.
Krytox 205 is what I've read Ford uses. I put some on the pins of a new hardtop and the popping and creaking is totally gone. It's expensive but you only need a tiny bit.
A decent shop should be able to match white no problem. I had a repair on a car with pearl white tricoat and the shop got the match better than factory on the plastic bumper.
I think the lowest would be a Badlands with a 4.7 and 33" tires at about 65mph at 2000rpm. Opposite would be a 3.73 axle with 32" tires at about 80mph at 2000rpm. What's too much? Not sure.
Basically yes. Lower gearing (higher number) means there is more torque to the wheels at the axle. That allows you to turn a larger tire effectively. The tire is a lever with a length equal to its radius. The larger the tire, the less mechanical advantage it has in converting the twisting force...
Don't get me wrong, I prefer 4WD / AWD all day in the snow. It's why I bought a Bronco with the 4A transfer case or have a 4x4 at all. But being able to accelerate in the snow is one thing and being able to stop or steer is another. All cars are 4x4 when it comes to brakes. Grip matters more...
I dunno. I have a ton of Raspberry Pis. I mess around with micro controllers and have done some hobby software and hardware work with CAN bus. That thing is 900 bucks and all it appears to be is a breakout board for a Pi. It has an MCP2515 chip that costs about $4 already soldered onto a...
I have a Pixel 7 and have run into a couple issues with Android Auto wireless not initially connecting but I'm 90% sure it's a phone problem as I've also had it happen with other vehicles. No issues whatsoever while running. I have a periodic audio hitch with the older Ford Sync system in the...
I'm at just 400 something miles on a new Outer Banks 4 door. I just discovered the driver door has been rubbing on the fender, scratching the paint. Great. It was a 5 minute door alignment fix with a 13mm wrench. A bit annoyed the paint is scratched. That's the only real problem I've identified...
