It is similar to a vinyl wrap. It is a clear film that can be installed in areas most likely to be damaged like door jambs, etc. It can be pricey especially if you do the entire vehicle which is probably overkill. I think there are some threads here that discuss pricing.
Canāt recommend a specific detailer for this but I would say that ceramic coatings are not capable of preventing scrapes and chips. You would need a paint protecting film for that level of protection.

The rear underfloor cargo safe is a no-go for an AR pistol. It may fit in the compartment (with a folding stock adapter) but the safe door is too deep and will not close.
