Am I missing something? What does the “distressed” version look like?
Also, as mentioned by another member in this thread, the passenger side should be reversed. Is it possible to get a version where the passenger side has the stars field toward the back of the vehicle? It wouldn’t stop be...
Does that have any drain holes to drain crap out from off roading? I’d be concerned it would load up with mud and debris while off roading with no easy way to clean it out. Thoughts?
Since you don’t do a lot of off roading, then some of the Badlands standard features such as sway bar disconnect and wash out interior may not come into play. Even so, I would likely still go with the Badlands because I like the marine grade vinyl on the seats so much more than leather and the...
Just took a 3500 mile round trip to some national parks in SD, WY, and MT. Used 87 octane the whole trip and averaged 20.1 MPG which included a majority of the trip at 80 MPH highway speeds with some crazy headwinds. Previously, I have used premium at times and never noticed a difference in...
I agree with your perspective. I have a Badlands with the 2.3l and thoroughly enjoy it. I also have a 2020 explorer with a 3.0 V6 and agree that it has a lot of juice especially if you put it into Sport mode. For me, the decision between engines focused on expected delivery timeframes at the...
Go over to the forum on the 2.7 failures and type in that same response and you’ll be chewed up and spit out. The posters there go through a completely different calculation to determine the failure rate. Regardless, I wouldn’t make any decision based on the information on this forum alone...
I can see the complaints on this forum already…..
My screen doors leak
Snow got inside my Bronco
There is wind noise and an air leak around the screen door
Water got into my Bronco when I forded a stream
The color of the screens don’t match the fender flares
😂 😂
Sorry… I thought you were hearing the clicking/popping from the front panels. There are a few posts in another thread where they installed shrink tubing over the alignment pins. Not sure if this would help with what you are describing but it certainly couldn’t hurt.
It seems like a proven solution for this is to cover the alignment pins with shrink tubing and viola!
Interestingly, I am preparing to do this later today on my rig for the very same reason you mentioned. I saw that Ace Hardware sells black shrink tubing of the right size.
Oh goodie….another way that they (Ford & Amazon) can collect my data.
No thanks.
This kind of “technology” is mind numbing. The end state of the current “voice assistant” technology is where you learn what the computer needs to hear to perform a task rather the computer learning or being...
It took several trips, each time replacing one or more parts. They started with the service bulletin on the shutter harness connector but that was pointless. Then replaced the alternator. It was about then that they escalated to Ford and a Ford Engineer was brought into the dealership to...
