Name match policy aside, I doubt a dealer will let you do that, especially at MSRP. If you aren't buying it, they would love it if you cancel so they can sell it for a huge ADM. They aren't going to let you "cancel" but honor your price agreement with some rando you bring in
I like your setup. Are the orange straps intended to take some weight off of the folded rear seats or just simply hold up the last section of your platform? Just asking because idk how much that plastic trim on the back of the driver seat will hold before they snap off. But it looks like there...
Side note for anyone living in snowy climates. Does it also bug you that the passenger wiper hits the antenna whenever you try to put your antennas up, or more specifically when you are trying to slam them down to break the ice off? Annoying, but not a real issue at all. Also slamming the rear...
I've only noticed the smell inside the vehicle, haven't smelled it as I walk up to the vehicle. But I also don't park in a garage so if there is a smell outside for a few minutes after remote starting, it could be blowing away before I get to the vehicle.
I've also noticed the electrical burning smell occasionally. Seems to go away pretty quickly. I keep forgetting to mention it in this forum because it does go away within the first few minutes of driving then its out of mind. I think every time I've smelled it was after remote starting and...
I think thats a good first move. I probably would have just called them to ask whats up before starting this thread. Could totally be nothing going on, or they could be screwing you. No harm in asking now vs when you take delivery. If something fishy is up, finding out now will buy you more time...
To add to the joy of remote start, when using the app you can remote start for 15 minutes and you have the option to add an additional 15 minutes right off the bat. This morning was -20 degrees here in MN, and even colder than that with wind chill. I gave it about 25 minutes before getting in...
I was going to get liners because I didn't realize the Bronco came with carpeted floor mats and I didn't want to wear down the rubber washout floor. Now I just use the floor mats to prevent wear on the rubber floor. In the spring when I don't have to worry about snow and salt anymore, I'll give...
I don't like where Ford planned to mount front license plates, but I didn't think about lighting when I bought my mod bumper license plate mount from Builtright. I just realized my license plate would cover up part of the passenger side fog lights if I were to mount them in the bumper like this
Probably a dumb question but I've never done any lighting before. Without the dual function wiring harness and mode switch, if you were to wire white/amber lights to AUX switches, how would you switch between white and amber? Are they separate wires and would require using two AUX switches? If...
You are correct in that most of the time power is still being sent to the front, but I've definitely seen mine only sending power to the rear in 4A. I'm no expert, but I don't think Ford did a great job programming 4A. It seems to have nothing to do with slip and more to do with driving style...
One of the displays in the instrument panel shows power distribution. If you look at that while driving in 4A you'll see that when you are just cruising in a straight line on dry pavement, power is only going to the back wheels. When you accelerate or corner, it will send some power to the front...
I already have a schedule set up for 10pm to 6am everyday. It still notifies me every time i open a door no matter what time it is. Maybe i'll try uninstalling the app and reinstall
I can't get it to stop notifying me when I open a door. I want it to only notify my when it opens overnight or when I turn it on as needed like if I'm leaving the vehicle somewhere unattended for a long period of time.
Also, on one of the super cold days last weekend, i kept getting alerts in...
The only issue I've had so far is wireless android auto. Every few days it glitches out and randomly disconnects and once that happens I get stuck in a loop where the vehicle reconnects after a few seconds, then disconnects, then reconnects, etc... constantly switching automatically between FM...
