I got 34K miles out of my Factory tires before switching to KO3's 2 weeks ago. I do 2-3 trips a year offroad, nothing fancy and they're worked great. Now with the K03's I'm about 300 miles in way, way better sound noise on the KO3's and ride quality is good. I'm running at 34 psi as opposed...
What I did with mine before I got my bestop is angle it slightly up so it's reflecting the cross member, even with the top up. It got rid of the double vision.
I have a a different system, but @Bee Bop had a great install manual he knocked together on how to remove the necessary panels. I've been really annoyed with my old system. The quality is garbage, I might have to Upgrade! Do you have any nighttime video from the rear camera? Ideally showing...
We had a pretty hefty downpour Sunday, felt great. Wipers were at max for 2-3 minutes, but it was pretty localized the sun came out shortly afterwards.you could see the water getting ejected quite well. It's been surprisingly dry here in Pittsburgh, but so far so good. I've also been keeping...
I will say after switching to KO3's I've gone from listening to the radio at 14-16 to 8-10. And I'm in a soft top. The factory goodyears are crazy loud.
I'd recommend picking up a transmission skid plate if you're going really hard. I like my LOD plate since I've got a v6 and it protects the Support struts. Slots right into the existing Ford ones and piece of mind is huge.
I'm only about a 100 miles in but I'm at 16.5 up from my normal 14.5 in city driving. Seriously I don't get it just a superior tire in every way. I'm going on the trail the weekend after labor day but so far I floored.
So far so good. They're way quieter than the factory goodyears and ride way better. I am running them at 35 psi versus the 39 Used to keep the factories, but given the stiffer sidewalls I think it's equivalent. I don't have enough time on them to get a mileage difference and I'll be taking...
They aired them down to 35 and are riding way smoother. I took a run at a short gravel road near work and it was really smooth. There's a little more rolling inertia than the factory goodyears. But so far super happy with them.
I basically followed this thread. It's a warn evo 10k winch and yes an RC high mount. I haven't reinforced the frame horns. Sadly @Tricky Mike seems to not be selling his anymore, but I might at some point. I haven't had to use it yet, but the issues I've heard of were some relatively extreme...
I've got the LOD Transmission Skid. I like that it wraps around the support struts and it fit's right in with the existing bash plates. and the dents in it tell me it's doing it's job.
Just got them installed by Discount Tire. I've got a while 10 miles on them, but way quieter than the factory Goodyears. I'm taking them out to AoAA the weekend after Labor Day and will report back! What's peoples opinion on the Discount Tire warranty?
After 34k miles I swapped out the factory Goodyears for some KO3's in sasquatch size. After a grand total of 10 miles I can say, they're definitely quieter!.
