So I sold the truck and bought a 2019 Charger Hellcat today. Dooh. 2022 will be a heck of a year for me. Trade in the Hellcat for a GT500 or keep the Hellcat and get Bronco. LOL.
I agree that the price is likely a reflection of the actual cost plus a reasonable profit margin. I’m just not sure I could pull the trigger on it at that price.
I guess I will buy a mid level BroncoBronco until the badass mofo Raptor version comes out. Or buy at GT500 in 2021, keep the F-150, and in 2023 or 2024 buy the Raptor Bronco and have that and a GT500. I think my decision is made.
ADM. Look at the Bullitt. Once it hit show room floors the ADM went away almost immediately. After about a month MSRP deals were commonplace. This is in the good old nation of Texas mind you. Although going to be super cool, the BroncoBronco will not demand the ADM after they hit the floor...
I don't understand the concern with NVH. The hinge and seal would not be any different than a regular door. It appears that the latch is integrated in with the hinge thus keeping the door from sliding off of the hinge when engaged. Do Jeep doors have a propensity to become victims of NVH...
Running boards could be addons to throw us off. How about the roof rack? Looks like it has the side bars for one. Exhaust does look exactly like the Caddy but again, they do try to trick us.
I don’t think they will drop the Ford part like Jeep does not have the parent company in the name. So they will be a Ford Bronco A, Ford Bronco B, etc.
We all know it’s not a Jeep Wrangler Cherokee or a Jeep Wrangler Compass etc. It’s always been that way.
They are going to use the Bronco...
I get it now. Just like Jeep.
Jeep Wrangler.
Jeep Compass.
Jeep Cherokee.
ETC.
Bronco Scout. Edit - Not using the Scout name.
Bronco Sport.
Bronco Outer Banks.
Bronco Big Bend.
Bronco Mall Crawler.
Bronco SVT Raptor.
Bronco Suburban Mom Soccer Grocery Getter.
ETC.
Truly an attempt to target...
I wonder if the new Bronco will get me through what the F-150 did yesterday?????
My best guess is 31/2 feet of water because when I got home there was some water in the air box and the inlet measures 3 1/2 feet off of the ground.
Want. If the new one does not look as badass as this, I am going to hunt for a '77ish to buy. New vehicles just perform so much better (not necessarily off road but overall general performance, braking, gas millage, comfort, ride quality, etc) and have all of the amenities.
I’m not hung up on SFA, diesel, electric, or underpinnings. I would like the EB from the Explorer ST. 400 HP and 415 lb-ft would do it for me. Heck an all electric would not turn me away.
I want a cool retro look, think first gen. No OJ. Roof and doors removable. That appears is a given...
I had a 2003 Wrangler. The amount of room to haul gear, even just for fishing, sucked. Even with the seat out, you put in a cooler and a tackle box or 2, all space is taken. I have to use a hitch mount rack to bring all of my gear for a day of surf fishing. Cooler, live well, chairs, tackle...
