I didn’t use a u-joint. Took loose an electrical connector and took out one plastic rivet for the liner and used the socket with @9” worth of extensions. After doing it this time, taking the skid plate off would be the hardest part if I do it again.
All I know is I did my first one today, and getting to the damn oil filter without the oil running down that channel and down your arm is a magic trick. I finally had to jack up the thing, take loose the driver inner fender liner and unscrew it with a oil filter cup. Major pain. Next time I’m...
been waiting for mine for 3 months. Just a FYI for you that want to "convert" to a hard top, the guy at the dealer said for all the parts and install it all, it costs like $11k. WOW
Still happy with my 2dr BB SAS Mid Pkg. $43k msrp and have already had chances to sell at over $10k profit. I just can't bring myself to do it. I know I should and sign up for another higher optioned one but I just like the thing.
I don't understand all I know about that exhaust. Looks neat, I guess, but why the an x-pipe after the muffler and why that "third" outlet thing?
Also, as a side note...the tie-rod ends look a bit beefier.
I had to reach out to mine to pull info out of them. Long Lewis in Muscle Shoals. I loved dealing with them, but they aren't going to "hassle" their customers.
