This is the only one I screenshot from Facebook. It would take me hours to find the others, so you'll have to trust me that therr was at least 5 others who in the last 2 weeks have had the TSB done, and had the noise return the following week. Hopefully this screenshot shows up on here...
Any time ford changes a part, the number is updated. In extreme changes the number is changed completely along with a new engineering number. So, in that case, no, there is no chance they changed the part without changing the number. Low fill is possible however that would mean it was...
We are Ford technicians. And based on the information I have gone through the TSB part list with my parts manager and none of the parts are updated or changed. The repair to get to the 5/6 synchro is extremely difficult and involved. To go through all of that and put the same parts back in is a...
After a cold shot this weekend, I can confirm even after topping off fluid, the noise is back. Also, a coworkers 4 dr/black diamond built approx. 6/2022 with 4k miles is also making the noise even after topping off trans fluid. Will be waiting until Ford makes a real fix to address this...
Fellow Ford tech here...that's the problem. Speaking the truth about Ford is bad advertisement and they don't like it. I would be very careful sharing. If ford wanted everything public, they would make sure it was.
BE VERY CAREFUL! Ford is watching these forums. I have seen technicians fired and dealers' loose franchises over things like this. Watch what you say, they are watching you......
So maybe worth it to get one Wide and one spot in the higher output. Does the order in which you pick the lights 1, 2, 3, change how they are arranged on the bracket or do you put them where you want them when assembling?
Is the difference between the standard and HXB really worth the 200$ per light difference? Im going to order a set from you because i really like the idea of your harness.
I will say the repair to replace that synchro is extremely involved and takes a very experienced technician. Before I tear mine down to do it, I need to see some evidence that this fix is real....and what we are changing is actually different...
That is true. However there are day 1 2021 builds and 2023 builds all having the same issue. To run a part incorrectly for that long is unlikely. Usually when something is made that long incorrectly, the defect is in the actual design and a new/updated part # is then assigned...never in my years...
Ford tech here.. I find it very interesting that the Part # for the synchro we are replacing is not updated or changed in anyway. We are simply replacing with the same exact parts. So what's the cause? Doesn't make much sense. Usually a TSB provides a permanent fix. I don't see that here, unless...
Wheels/tires/level are on. For anyone waiting on a manual trans you will be so happy. What an amazing driving experience! So happy I went with the 7 speed...
It is here, just unloaded. One day behind schedule, but happy none the less. Railcar was "Bad ordered" in Ohio for a full week and still only one day late. Now the build commences tomorrow 😎🤘
Okay guys so my bronco FINALLY shipped last week. I was tracking it from MAP to Twin Oaks Pennsylvania, when I called this morning I got the message that my railcar was "Bad ordered" in Walbridge Ohio?! Anyone have any input on what may have happened? Any way I can find out more through CSX?!
