No, not the sexiest topic, but I know a lot of us are wondering. Those of you that have the new Bronco and have laid down some miles, what are you seeing for MPG. Myself, Iām concerned mostly about Highway.
please let us know, along with your model and engine tranny combo!
Canāt say if make that trade. But having had a few vintage cars myself, I understand the desire for new and reliable.
My trade will be a ā17 F150. Bronco will be my less than ideal, but I canāt help myself, traveling salesmanās ride.
Looks good!
having done my time in the tire industry though, this isnāt something I would recommend. Rims arenāt wide enough for those tires. Thatās a safety issue, and itāll eat the center of the tires.
So does this mean the 285/75ās will rub on the inside without a spacer, using the OE steelies?
myself, Iād like to be able to just use the OE wheels with larger tires and avoid the cost of new wheels.
just donāt go with a tire that has a lower load carrying capacity at pressure than the OE tires. Any decent shop should be able to help with this. or go to Tire Rack.
Canāt imagine that will be an issue on the Bronco though.
This bronco is badass. Nice looking fitment!
Thanks for posting.
Myself, I would like to see someone put 285/70r17s on the steelies. Preferably on an Area 51.
that $100 also gives you a good hedge. In this environment and some deliveries delayed well into 2022. The normal sales price in 6 months or a year could be $10 k higher than it is now, or there could be $12k in rebates. Who knows! That locked in price has value.
Congrats on picking up a great vehicle! And thanks for posting!
ive been considering changing my BD2.7 order to this exact set up. Too bad for me you got there first!
Iāve also been hoping / expecting that as production picks up there will be more and more of these available for purchase at...
Any more thoughts on the 2.3 & manual a little further in? Iām considering a change from BD w 2.7 to a BL 2.3. Wondering if you wish you had gone with the 2.7.
Anybody put 285/70r17ās on their Black Diamond yet? Either on the Steelers or other wheels?
hoping for a visualā¦. I saw a Badlands at the dealer this week. Looked pretty great and Iām strongly considering an upgrade, but itās mostly the wheels and tires vs BD. Just donāt want to come out of...
Glad to hear this! Had a feeling the government results were low for a highway driver. My f150 has the 3.5 eco boost and 10 speed, and gets 23-24. Drops quite a bit in the winter, but stillā¦
