The night I was completing the sale of my Bronco, the finance manager was brining up the extended warranty and like others I do a lot of my own work but he mentioned the cost of some items. One of them was the infotainment screen. He said if that failed, replacement was somewhere in the $5000.00...
After reading this, I was remembering when I bought my 2012 Mustang and was introduced to MyKey. If I remember correctly and not saying you do any of this but I believe that if you have or accidentally created a MyKey, it did something to the audio volume and muted it if the seatbelt wasn't...
My understanding is that most OBD2 code readers will clear codes but if the problem hasn't been fixed, the code will come right back. You need the reader to find out what components are failing, fix them and then clear it if you can.
I bought this a few years ago. I'm not advanced enough to take advantage of all the features but it will scan for and clear all but permanently set codes that require dealers to reset. This one is Innova's middle of the road scanner and they are a US company but I think readers are physically...

I want to take the opportunity to thank everyone who posts on this forum and figured that I might as well do it here. I have a '24 BD with the 7MT. Bought the truck new in October '24 and I still absolutely love it. The transmission has made the rattle since new and I always thought it was...
There is a purpose made slot on either end of the windshield cowl near the mirror accessory mounts that you can feed the wire harness from the lights down into the engine bay for a clean installation.
