in certain lights, it was. I'd say carbon gets lighter than magnetic but in standard lighting they are similar. The real difference is one is a more true gray/carbon and one is a brownish-gray carbon look...basically cool vs warm tones.

I am doing the MIC top as well, just figured down the road I will buy the painted one and sell the MIC. Some of these changes I will try to do right away, some will take a while. A wildtrak solves a lot of these design issues, but I want a black interior so I'll have to make a custom mashup.
