Sup 10/24 peeps! Just realized it's been almost a year already!
Thought it'd be fun to post the most recent pic of your Bronco.
Took this one yesterday before cleaning it up after a little off-pavement action...
How did I (my wife, really) end up with a Bronco? Sort of by accident, really.
We had just bought a new family hauler (VW Atlas) about 6 months prior to the reveal of the Bronco.
We both loved the Bronco, but knew it wasn't realistic to try to get one at that point.
Her father ended up...
Who said it was for a toddler? :ROFLMAO:
But yes it is a must have. We were potty training one at the time and the other likes to wait till the last possible second to tell us they have to "go" lol.
I just lay them down on a blanket (I've only had the fronts off though).
I saw someone who took a pool noodle, cut and slit it to pop on the bottom of the doors so you can store them vertically without chewing up the bottoms.
I may give that a shot one day. But the doors have only come off once...
Took advantage of the ground clearance yesterday and was able to make it in and out of my flooded neighborhood after the hurricane.
The Defender did ok I guess. But I do want to point out he took the higher line:LOL:
I live in St. Petersburg. My dash does not look like that.
Definitely some sort of defect, or there was something on the dash that caused that like @BlueBronco said.
I'll chime in since "my" Bronco is actually my wife's and we have an OBX w/ Sasquatch.
It drives around town and down the highway just fine. Feels just like any other suv.
But that's all she does with it. Takes the kids to school, goes to the grocery store...etc.
I, however, do enjoy to take...
I was thinking about a pretty much identical trip later this year.
I'd be coming from central Florida, but would probably take the same exact route you did.
The extended family is planning a trip to Big Sky for Thanksgiving, and I was thinking about leaving a week early doing a solo drive and...
I run the Bronco through an auto wash with ALLLL the brushes almost weekly.
I have a stubby antenna and a hard top though. But I don't even fold in the mirrors...the brushes do that for me! lol.
No issues.
I agree with the Plasti-Dip comment. Easily reversible if you decide you don't like it, and could even potentially be a permanent solution should you like it.
