I was a Wildtrak waiting in 2022 purgatory until I switched to badlands soft top. Now I have an “in production” Bronco. Rapid red. Which I wouldn’t be able to get next year, presumably. I’m good. I can wait a few more days.
My is just now in production. Ideal would be to join up with some like minded and experienced wheelers with my son driving his 96 Bronco sometime next year when he can drive without me in shotgun!
I’m not positive if the gladiator is similar to the wrangler, but I imagine it is. Most folks do stuff to their wrangler/gladiator (lift, bigger tires), which does change the driving characteristics. So maybe it doesn’t have all of the urban legends from factory, but as soon as you start messing...
I switched from Wildtrak to Badlands and spec'd the badlands the same, with soft top. I would've just changed to soft top were that an option. Also dropped tow package. I can add a hitch and wiring later if needed. I don't think towing 3500 lbs and under will require the trailer sway electronics.
