I'm thinking that's at least part of what they are trying to do with the Sport. I don't think they'd see a large volume of sales with a fixed top. The removable top is what makes it so appealing and competitive with Jeep products.
I'd like a step on both sides for my kids to climb in easier, and so I could access the roof rack. Would also add some lights. The rest, just got to wait and see.

I will say that I appreciate the X Plan pricing as a stockholder (with more than 100 shares). That personally makes me feel some inclusion as both a Ford stockholder and a customer.
I really like the old FJ40, and used to own a 76 model. I can't express how disappointing the release of the FJCruiser was for me (and numerous others). No removable top??? Really Toyota?? Ford appears to have nailed the looks, capability and nostalgia with Bronco. I'm still holding a grudge...
