How did I fearmonger people out of money? I didn't even start the thread. I just stated I heard the same thing too, multiple times might I add. I stated very early in the thread I hope it's available as I've told several people it would be available too since it's not a specialty vehicle.
Anything I say is going to make some people suspicious, but it's how Ford currently treats vehicles that are ineligible for plan pricing so it doesn't cause confusion for dealer employees and consumers. On SVT units and other ineligible vehicles currently, those spots on the invoice are blank...
All advertising channels. Website, TV, radio, anywhere....Granted there are 3000 dealers in the US and I'd assume there's no way the team can even remotely come close to monitoring the program. That's why this year they actually made a dealer portal for dealers to report violations. I would...
Yes it is 100% fixed, no different than the employee plans. Unlike other OEM's, like CDJR, that allow you to sell under the plan price and still receive the commission. Ford does not allow any deviation at all.
Yes, I agree that you could work it as a non x-plan deal, but you cannot advertise it. It's specifically why he mentioned the ad standards team. All dealers "should" adhere to specific ad guidelines that Ford puts out. We just got new ones this year.
I know there's a handful of folks here that don't like anything I say, and that's perfectly fine. I'm only sharing info that I'm hearing from some folks way up the ladder. I don't have 100% knowledge it's ineligible, but it seems that it's going to be. I even heard the Mustang Club membership...
They don't get a rebate, but a specific commission. I guarantee you it is a violation to sell a Ford vehicle below ANY plan price. Ford has no way to verify at time of sale, but the dealer is required to fill out azdx plan price worksheet, and dealers get audited all the time for compliance. I...
LOL, for real. The good news is for most of the people that were getting "x" amount below invoice on a x-plan deal in the first place never actually needed the pin# since the dealer can't lock it in and sell a vehicle below x-plan price without being in plan violation. Just generate a generic...
Possibly, since when we actually could spec one out, it may not let you enter that as an order type. If we spec out a Raptor, it won't allow you to enter AZ as a sale type. Hope that makes sense.
I'd expect an announcement beforehand if it's true though. They'll send a communication to dealers...
I fully believed there would be x-plan before this week. Now I'm not sure according to what I've heard. I'm leaning towards no considering the person that it came from. Like a lot of things in this forum, I guess we'll wait and see, but I hope it's available.
I did ask if they could actually...
Somebody tweet Ford and ask them if the
I'd hate to really give anyone advice based on how everything is evolving. Just use your best guess and be confident with that. Sorry I can't help more.
I think the bigger dealers are going to get more allocation than people think. That said, your strategy is probably the mid size dealer and an early reservation(not that I think that's going to mean a whole lot).
