  1. Dealer saying only 50% of reservations will be filled in 2021

It's actually $16.5M and that money is in dealer's accounts, not Ford.
  2. Dealer saying only 50% of reservations will be filled in 2021

We all know Ford talks directly to consumers more than they talk to dealers. Let's get real here. :)
  3. Dealer saying only 50% of reservations will be filled in 2021

If dealers were smart, they'd convert 100% of their orders, insure they sell at least 80% of those ordered to original reservation holders and promise to buy them back if they don't want to keep them, and sell the other 20% off the lot. ;)
  4. Bronco financing interest rate - how competitive will it be?

True, but the rate wouldn't show 0% on the contract. And given the fact that Wrangler has zero rebates available, and around $3k markup on a sport model, there's not enough money in the deal to even buy it down that far. But I get what you're saying mathematically. Most dealers don't buy down...
  5. Bronco financing interest rate - how competitive will it be?

You are correct, he was wrong. There is no 0% for 72 months on Wranglers.
  6. Bronco financing interest rate - how competitive will it be?

Ford Credit(well FOMOCO really) assigns special apr's just like they do rebates. They base them off demand and days supply. I would not expect any kind of stellar rate at all on the Bronco. If you follow the Ford Superduty(hottest vehicle currently in Ford's lineup) you would see they never...
  7. NJ/NY/Delaware/Eastern Pa./MD/Ct Volume Buyers?

I don't know why you wanted to throw my name in your post, but since you did, I'm happy to share my "opinion" just like you did. I've stated before that no dealers on this forum are a threat to me, just like I'm not a threat to them. I've stated multiple times I'm not here to get any...
  8. NJ/NY/Delaware/Eastern Pa./MD/Ct Volume Buyers?

I'd have to blank his name out and that would cause skepticism. :)
  9. NJ/NY/Delaware/Eastern Pa./MD/Ct Volume Buyers?

I understand. I could post screenshots of the plan rules straight from the dealer Ford portal (fmcdealer) and people still wouldn't believe it. I could post the email I got from Ford with clarification, and they wouldn't believe that either, probably claiming the regional Ford manager is an...
  10. NJ/NY/Delaware/Eastern Pa./MD/Ct Volume Buyers?

I can't control what any dealer chooses to do. I asked Ford for clarification, and they emailed me back the answer. I thought I'd posted that already.
  11. NJ/NY/Delaware/Eastern Pa./MD/Ct Volume Buyers?

So states know that doc fees are nothing more than dealer profit, since they're not a state fee. Not a tax, not a tag fee, not a title fee...etc. That said, if a customer wants to negotiate the doc fee(which is fine btw), then the dealer needs to take it out of the sales price and show the same...
  12. NJ/NY/Delaware/Eastern Pa./MD/Ct Volume Buyers?

As long as a dealer is advertising a retail offer, they can offer whatever they like. If their doc fee isn't normally $75 for retail deals, then that would concern me(as a dealer). I don't know Leonardtown's offer, but that offer would be a no-no as well. That said, doesn't matter to me what...
  13. NJ/NY/Delaware/Eastern Pa./MD/Ct Volume Buyers?

Bottom line, dealers cannot give x-plan participants anything more than a $50 nominal gift(oil change, parts credit), straight x-plan price off the invoice, and $100 doc fee. If anyone is promising anything other than those things, then they're in violation. Even if they advertise those things...
  14. NJ/NY/Delaware/Eastern Pa./MD/Ct Volume Buyers?

"The" only way to circumvent plan pricing by manipulating the numbers is with the trade. You have a viable channel then to throw more money in the deal for the customer. The plan rules even address that scenario and it's allowed. Trust me, the plan rules are very clearly written, and a dealer...
  15. NJ/NY/Delaware/Eastern Pa./MD/Ct Volume Buyers?

There's lots of things dealers can get in trouble doing in these types of scenarios. They can't give you anything in addition to any FOMOCO plan pricing. Even advertising it to plan members is a violation of Ford ad standards. Then there are serious legal ramifications for dealers when they...
  16. NJ/NY/Delaware/Eastern Pa./MD/Ct Volume Buyers?

Keep in mind that any dealer accepting x-plan(if available) can't offer any type of $1000 accessory credit on that deal. I haven't kept up with every thread so forgive me if someone has already addressed that, but wanted to point out that it's a serious plan violation.
  17. Dealership with the most reservations

Ok. Remember they built in that other 50% allocation for 2021 MY Broncos. 2022 will resort back to a more traditional allotment. They've already told us Bronco Sport will have some factor into it. This isn't new news to us...maybe to you guys it is.
  18. Dealership with the most reservations

In 2022, yes it will happen. That's a lot of Broncos down the road though. And 2022 MY will have different allocation rules.
