I have GTECHNIQ plastic trim sealant on the flares. It doesn't seem to help.

Understood but it started as snow and then turned to rain and froze up. When I got to work I didn't notice it and it is the first time we have actually gotten decent snow so it hasn't happened prior.

I might be adding rock sliders/steps which I believe would help as mentioned about the running boards. I do have Rek Gen mud flaps but that doesn't seem to help. I never saw the Pam idea before but it might work. I like to use Maxima SC1 on my sled and that may be a solution.
