  1. This has become boring and depressing.

This is beyond depressing. I've bought 17 vehicles since 1974 and none came even close to the cluster* that this Bronco purchase has become. Used to be able to walk into a showroom and drive out with a new vehicle, or order one and pick it up in a month. But now we have reservations, delays...
  2. Code 99

When Ford gives us estimated delivery dates by the end of this month, will they give us dates for those that are now coded 99?
  3. 2-Door Bronco Badlands - Cargo Space Pictures & Video

I'm starting to get the impression that the back seat won't fold down flat if the front seat is all the way back. Also - Those optional wheels are growing on me.
  4. Your plans for sliders/armor?

The Badlands rockers and bash plates should be enough to handle the curbs and parking barriers that my wife drives over.
  5. Ford should of not made so many bronco models

Should have had just 1 trim (Bronco) with every option ala carte
  6. WHEN will we hear....? 7/19 reservation date...not a PEEP!

I called yesterday trying to get delivery info from them. Marketing person said they do not have access to estimated delivery info, and that we would get estimated delivery info by the end of the month.
  7. Anybody else thinking about cancelling if their build estimate is 2022?

I know what you mean. I didn’t need to see that either.
  8. Anybody else thinking about cancelling if their build estimate is 2022?

That is overpriced. I want a 2 door sport. Something cheap just to get me by for a year or so until I get a bronco. Something 37-40k
  9. Anybody else thinking about cancelling if their build estimate is 2022?

I’ve been looking at Jeeps and may get one now and trade in later for the bronco. Especially if delivery date is estimated to be mid 2022. I suspect that Ford’s estimate will be 6 months or more earlier than when it really gets here. It wouldn’t surprise me if my late July res gets here spring...
  10. 18 days of May left...

We'll get an email sometime this month. It will give us an estimated eta of our Broncos along with something like "if we have the parts"
  11. Bronco July 2021 Production Scheduling Memo

The answer is money. Ford doesnt want to pay for shipping hard tops later, or pay for installing washer/ electric connections on soft top Broncos.
  12. 18 days of May left...

"As a reminder, in late May, we will provide you with more information on the estimated delivery timing for your Bronco and we're committed to keeping you up-to-date through the entire delivery process." Per Ford's email of 3/25/2021. I'm expecting Ford to give us information as they have stated.
  13. How many changes have you made?

    3. Changed big bend to badlands Added free headliner Changed to high package after the wife saw the 12” screen in person
  14. How many people are going to see this to the end?

I’ll stick it out as long as I can, but at 65 years old I can only wait so long.
  15. No Broncos scheduled this week.

I had a backup plan if the Bronco plan went bust. Get a Jeep to tide me over until I got the Bronco, and keep my F-150 in either case. I used to be anxious to get the Bronco or Jeep (to a lesser extent). But yesterday I realized that my 2017 F-150 does more for me than either the Bronco or the...
  16. Email from Ford - How to increase chances of getting your Bronco sooner

I have a 2022 order also. But the current shitstorm will be far from just a memory when the 2022’s start rolling out. That is only 7 months from now. I don’t see how Ford will solve the top, 2.7 engine, Sasquatch and other commodities issues all within the next 7 months. I wish they could, but...
  17. What is Your Prediction on When You Will See Your Bronco?

    July 27, 2020 res. 2 dr 2.7 BL I'll see it October, 2022.
  18. Emails today 5/6 ?

I agree on the potatoes. And to make it easy, I use shoe string potatoes. Just sauté or microwave them and add to the burrito.
  19. Michigan Assembly Plant - Two Week Shutdown (May 17 and 24)

I don't know about the rest of you, but the constant "Any news on your Bronco?" questions coming from family and friends is more annoying than the delays. At least after Ford's latest announcement, I can now tell everyone that my Bronco is "On Track".
  20. Michigan Assembly Plant - Two Week Shutdown (May 17 and 24)

And what happens in 2 weeks when they still don’t have chips?
