This is beyond depressing. I've bought 17 vehicles since 1974 and none came even close to the cluster* that this Bronco purchase has become. Used to be able to walk into a showroom and drive out with a new vehicle, or order one and pick it up in a month.
But now we have reservations, delays...
I'm starting to get the impression that the back seat won't fold down flat if the front seat is all the way back.
Also - Those optional wheels are growing on me.
I called yesterday trying to get delivery info from them. Marketing person said they do not have access to estimated delivery info, and that we would get estimated delivery info by the end of the month.
I’ve been looking at Jeeps and may get one now and trade in later for the bronco. Especially if delivery date is estimated to be mid 2022. I suspect that Ford’s estimate will be 6 months or more earlier than when it really gets here. It wouldn’t surprise me if my late July res gets here spring...
"As a reminder, in late May, we will provide you with more information on the estimated delivery timing for your Bronco and we're committed to keeping you up-to-date through the entire delivery process."
Per Ford's email of 3/25/2021. I'm expecting Ford to give us information as they have stated.
I had a backup plan if the Bronco plan went bust. Get a Jeep to tide me over until I got the Bronco, and keep my F-150 in either case. I used to be anxious to get the Bronco or Jeep (to a lesser extent).
But yesterday I realized that my 2017 F-150 does more for me than either the Bronco or the...
I have a 2022 order also. But the current shitstorm will be far from just a memory when the 2022’s start rolling out. That is only 7 months from now. I don’t see how Ford will solve the top, 2.7 engine, Sasquatch and other commodities issues all within the next 7 months. I wish they could, but...
I don't know about the rest of you, but the constant "Any news on your Bronco?" questions coming from family and friends is more annoying than the delays.
At least after Ford's latest announcement, I can now tell everyone that my Bronco is "On Track".
