I think they’ll try to address the backlog as a whole, inclusive of 4/4. I doubt they’ll get to everything and suspect that will have less to do with your date (FIFO) than it does with your specific issue. Some fixes will be easier than others or have less constraints.
It sure seems to be setting up as either/or.
1. 5/23-29 some vehicles will finish build, I’d guess <20% of us delayed 4/4ers
or
2. July shutdown cleans up the rest. I’d guess 20% of us delayed 4/4ers don’t even make this window (see the 750 page 1/24 thread)
They seem to be doing just enough to tell people there’s a chance so they can keep stringing us along. I’m starting to doubt I’ll ever receive a Bronco. Like Ford intentionally decided it would be more fun to piss in BroncoT’s cornflakes than build my Bronco.
Exact same here. I was told my estimated time of delivery is 5/29 with a 10 day window (that only goes later of course so June 8th). I called, like a previous poster it went straight through and the guy was very helpful.
like another poster, I texted the dealer too after being told their...
Talk about take my money. I need a shade for summers in the Carolinas where the sun can be brutal. By 7PM though, I want to see the stars. The Gearshade solution supposedly comes off quickly (I have one, no Bronco though). Would be great to slide it back though.
Just off chat. My Bronco is still scheduled to finish being build between 5/7-13. I’ve also previously been told it is NOT on chip hold. Hoping this means the awful new ETAs coming out now will not apply to me. Seems like wishful thinking.
Great. No end in sight and Ford will almost certainly screw up the repair for a good number of vehicles. Woo-freakin-hoo, at least they aren’t communicating or even pretending to care.
Spoken like a true northerner*. “Hey, it gets hot up here too” is regarded by people in the south the same way you regard southerners saying, “Hey, it gets cold down here too.”

I bought a Gearshade months ago (literally) the day after I was scheduled for a 3/26 build. Of course, my Bronco is still nowhere to be found and since then I’ve come to regret the image I had painted. Wish I’d waited for some of the better designs to emerge. So I might replace it before even...
Plant hold.
BL, high, soft top, capable bumper. High & Lux seem to be the common feature for posters with this hold. 5/13 expected to be moved to, “awaiting shipment” which I assume will take a billion years.
Was told plant hold, not a chip. 5/13 for “awaiting shipment” as the new date for me to not believe after originally not believing 3/26, then not believing 4/4, then not believing 4/11, then not believing 4/30.
Few things:
1. Better mileage at higher elevation is a real thing. The less dense air takes less force to push through the engine. This is essentially what a supercharger does, reduce force required to move steel (valves, pistons). Yes, there is less oxygen but still plenty to burn as much...
