  1. Back sagging under weight also lifting top

The OP’s picture is exactly why I’m looking at off-road cargo trailers so I can take a good base camp for 10-14 day hunting, fishing and camping trips. But dang those things are expensive! Unless they’re interested in the trailers I’ve researched, I can’t really help the OP since I don’t think...
  2. Most Impressive Mod to Your Bronco in 2024?

Icon Stage 8 suspension paired with Toyo Rugged Terrain Trail tires followed closely by the ProCal tune.
  3. What Will the 6G be Worth in 50 years?

I saw a really sweet 1G on the road recently and thought the rig could sell for north of $100,000. I’m not sure but the I think the late 1960s Bronco cost around $2,500 new and factored for inflation that’s about $21,500 in todayā€˜s money (see link and picture below), so some of the 1Gs are now...
  4. Flat towing with overnight stops - how do you handle this?

I donā€˜t lock the doors when towing and keep the key fob in my pocket. I was reminded by a forum member that if the key fob isn’t in the Bronco the double honk will sound when you close the door if you forget the last step in the flat towing procedure and don’t press the accessory switch to shut...
  5. Set up my 2024 Bronco Badlands to flat tow

Nice rig! You're a brave man towing doubles!
  6. Set up my 2024 Bronco Badlands to flat tow

Nicely done! What’s RV do you tow with?
  7. Inner Tie Rods same part on HOSS 3.0 and HOSS 2.0 suspensions?

Ouch! Good to know. I don’t do Rubicon level stuff but do get into some nasty awkward terrain while hunting. Now I wish I didn’t give the 2.0 sets away when I upgraded the suspension and rack….. BTW - That’s a hardcore off-road jack ^^^^
  8. Inner Tie Rods same part on HOSS 3.0 and HOSS 2.0 suspensions?

If I wanted to use 2.0 inner tie rods I bought for spares for my stock 2.0 Badlands rack before upgrading to the 3.0 rack I’d need to carry both the inner and outer 2.0 tie rods, correct? If I do buy a spare 3.0 inners is there any reason to buy an outer for a spare? I don’t know of anyone...
  9. Hoss 3.0 Suspension on 2 Door VS. 4 Door?

There are different spring rates depending on engine, number of doors and sway bar disconnect. There’s a chart somewhere on the forums and online you might be able to find by searching or someone might come along and post it on this thread. Iā€˜ll check to see if I saved a copy when I was thinking...
  10. Fender sticker(s) emblem

Don’t overthink it. With a little heat, you can peel them off and if you don’t like the naked look simply reinstall them afterwards. You just need something to stick them to temporarily. Slick plastic or an empty bottle would probably work. I went with the Bronco script and moved the OEM...
  11. New owner and member introduction

My wife and I went to the Nevada Off-Rodeo a few years ago. It was well worth the money. I’ve got a lot of experience off road but still found I learned a few new techniques but the real benefit was learning about operating the technology that’s included with the Bronco.
  12. 3 Most USED Mods on Broncos? Go!

Question first. If it’s not bolted on or otherwise permanently installed is it really a mod? Here are my most used, grouped together by package: 1) Icon State 8 suspension, Method Bead Grip rims, Toyo Rugged Terrain Trail tires. 2) Ford Performance ProCal tune 3) Flat towing setup (Air Force...
  13. Best Tires for a Badland Sasquatch?

The rock throwing will get better after the tires wear a few thousand miles. As others have reported, mine got way better after around 5,000 miles. They still throw rocks but not nearly as bad as when they’re new. Unless you’re doing hardcore trails I’d stick with them, wear them out and get...
  14. Flat Tow Bronco Raptor - what do you all think?

Thatā€˜s good to know. I hate the double honk less now
  15. Flat Tow Bronco Raptor - what do you all think?

This could be a relevant point, especially for those running exhaust or engine brakes which can illuminate the brake lights on some coaches and engage the auxiliary brake, if the auxiliary brake uses the message to the coach’s brake lights, when the exhaust brake engages. I know my diesel...
  16. Flat Tow Bronco Raptor - what do you all think?

I honestly can’t say for sure but I think I remember they did make a minor change on the list I printed in April this year, compared to the previous year’s procedure. That said if I’m working from a printed list, or if I write things down, I tend to not commit those things to memory but I...
  17. Flat Tow Bronco Raptor - what do you all think?

I’ve towed more than 12,000 miles which includes putting the Bronco into and out of flat tow mode 75+ times. Zero issues so far so I say go for it! As others have mentioned I have a charge line between the motorhome and the Bronco and I have a step by step list printed directly from the ownerā€˜s...
  18. Front wheel stud length and thread engagement

If desired Gorilla makes extended thread lug nuts as do a couple of other aftermarket companies.
  19. Flat Towing, unexpected brake lockup.

This comment is only based off of my memory, which can be poor at times, but most of the brake locking situations I’ve read about on the forum have had the RVi3 auxiliary brake system installed. Could there be issue with the auxiliary brake rather than the Bronco?
  20. 45 PSI Tire Pressure too high?

45 PSI will cause excessive wear in the middle of the tire. You should at least lower it to whatever the door sticker recommends.
