  1. For those that have their Broncos, what's your biggest complaint?

rattley windows that bonk around when they don’t clear the seal and when rolled down, front passenger is the worst for me rear 2 doors contact body when closed, stripping paint from both door and body Water leaks down a pillar when going through touchless carwash Both bumpers slightly lower...
  2. Rattling Windows

This is the wrong take. Case & point: my driver window is totally fine. Passenger window COMPLETELY different. Insanely loud rattles while driving with it partially down, very loud rattles opening and closing the door (window fully up), etc. Again, driver’s side window doesn’t have the issue...
  3. Dealer will NOT use my Full Synthetic Oil in my Turbo charged ecoboost?

Misleading title. Their refusal has nothing to do with the fact that the oil is full synthetic, it has to do with the fact that it’s customer-provided. Motorcraft makes a full-synthetic that they’d undoubtedly have no issue using, but OP wants his brand used.
  4. Quality issues with Bestop?

    My trektop doesn’t do this
  5. Door hitting body and hood/grille gap

Ugh, just checked and I never noticed but both of my rear 2 doors are contacting the body when closed and scraping paint off both sides where they touch. Just the bottom rear corner of both rear doors. WTFFFF
  6. Update: No resolution in sight for wrecked Bronco, over three months later.

This whole story just isn’t that unusual. Timelines are delayed due to supply chain/COVID, but even before that, parts availability has always been iffy for first model year vehicles needing repair… in the first year. Overall it sounds like a very run-of-the-mill crash/insurance/repair...
  7. 2.7L blown engine failure list . . 68 so far [Updated: December 13, 2022]

This is dumb. It would be one thing if the engine could be repaired with haste, but it would take several months anyway based on reports in this thread. That alone (time out of service for a warrantied issue) merits a buyback or lemon case. To imply it’s as trivial as having some small part...
  8. Upgrade before sale or not?

Def don’t upgrade. 100% stock has the best resale per dollar spent
  9. 2.7L blown engine failure list . . 68 so far [Updated: December 13, 2022]

2 turbos, multiple injection systems, more computers than a computer lab, a 10-speed transmission, electronic t-case, electronic e-brake, auto stop/start, digital gauge cluster, and on and on yeah, simplicity+reliability is definitely the direction ICE has been trending in the past 20 years
  10. 2.7L blown engine failure list . . 68 so far [Updated: December 13, 2022]

You’re in the minority then. Most people report being well over the max mark (up the twist) while cold.
  11. Anyone get 220000 Fordpass points email? [RESOLVED]

AFAIK the 220 was def limited to my21
  12. Anyone get 220000 Fordpass points email? [RESOLVED]

the 42k were automatic for me; the dealer had to go through this manual process to deliver the other 220k points that involved clicking some button in some internal system. Took me a couple days of pressure to get them to figure out how to do it. This was back in July and was my dealer’s first...
  13. Surprise Rat Intrusion!

Looks like dirt mountain rat damage to me ;)
  14. Did anyone's "chime" sounds change recently?

I think when it sounded weird for me for a few days it came from the instrument panel or nearby. Normally it seems to be spatially appropriate to which sensor is alarming, via the normal sound system?
  15. 2.7L blown engine failure list . . 68 so far [Updated: December 13, 2022]

Hmm. I actually think I may notice something similar in mine! Any new info? I too don’t know if it’s new or has been going on for the entire 5600 miles. I noticed today in the cold when the vehicle was warming up that this roughly corresponded with tiny gaps in the amount of exhaust being...
  16. Did anyone's "chime" sounds change recently?

This happened to me awhile ago. The sensor sound sounded different for a few days, then went back to normal. No idea why. I think it may have been making the same sound, just playing from a different location or different speaker or something. No idea what was going on.
  17. Ford CEO Jim Farley Confirms ICE Future for the Bronco and Mustang

TBH my Bronco will likely be replaced by an EV SUV with >10” of ground clearance, >300mi EPA range, <$80k MSRP, >=2 motors in the next few years as they become available. I don’t care if Ford doesn’t offer such a product, because others will. So probably an R1S. All new ICE vehicles have become...
  18. Avoid 4wheelparts: 2 door bronco side steps poor experience

Standard resolution for items arriving damaged is return & replace, or return for $. Sounds like they offered both of these. I don’t see any terrible customer service going on here. “Keep damaged item for significant discount” is much less common, usually not even mentioned in official “returns...
  19. "DO NOT USE 93 OCTANE" ?

You’re right. The 2022 spec sheet lists regular as 315/410. An older CNET [article](https://www.cnet.com/roadshow/news/2021-ford-bronco-power-hp-fuel/) listed 300/400. Does look like the increase is even more minor than originally published; 15 and 5 rather than 30 and 15. Maybe it’s time to...
