100% on the clutch & throw of the gear shift. Best stick I've driven. The noise is exactly what I thought it would be w/the soft top. A non-issue when driving below about 50mph but too loud for phone calls above about 60mph.
That e-brake tho, what were they thinking??
Arrived 10 days ago but I was out of town. Picked up my new baby today!
2.3L manual black diamond.
Since I love pretty much everything about it I'll highlight a couple changes I'd make:
1. The "upgraded" 7-speaker audio system is not great - wish they had an option to upgrade audio standalone...
My Black Diamond is at the dealer but I'm out of town til next Tuesday. Looking forward to picking it up.
I wish it didn't have blue threading on the seats and blue accents on the emergency brake / vents. Clashes with the Hot Pepper Red exterior. Oh well.
Spoke to my dealer yesterday. Should have my 2.3 manual badlands this week.
Interestingly, they have 25 broncos on the lot right now. Rarely saw more than 1-2 all of 2023. Ford must be pumping them out like mad.
They gave me $1500 under MSRP and I'm happy with that.
So I asked my salesperson this question and am meeting with him later today. After "talking to his manager" he said "my manager is aware of competitive pricing on the Bronco from other dealerships and we will adjust as well." We'll see what happens but I guess it can't hurt to ask.
I was compelled to reply because I feel the same way. I've only contacted my guy a couple times but from the start he was annoyed that I changed my configurations a bunch on Ford's website before asking him to submit one (they must get a copy of each configuration). He had me sign a statement...
Got a quote from USAA for a 60m loan at 6.14%. 36m was 5.98% and 72m was 6.28%. I was planning on keeping that quote open and comparing it to whatever the dealer offers. I really hope they don't play dumb games but if they do that's why I like to go in with a loan in hand.
I just got off a 5-minute chat with Ford (chat option on their website) and they gave me the railcar number and ETA at my dealer. Was able to call 800-235-2352 (CSX Rail) and through a totally automated system determine that my Bronco is in Indiana today and will be in Chicago on Wednesday...
Appreciate that Alpha! I've owned Wranglers for many years as well, mainly in Florida & Alaska. I had a hard top that rarely came off in Alaska due to a roof rack that made it extra difficult. I had a soft top that was off, along with the doors, at least 50% of the time in Florida, and had a...
What mods? I've got hoop steps, handles, side decal & steering wheel cover. Looking at lighting for my steel bumper.
I'd love suggestions for a 4dr rain cover. I plan on running it without top/doors half of the year and need a quick set cover for weather.
Mine has never worked through the Ford official website where I'm tracking the vehicle and the link disappeared all together today. But it still works when I add my VIN number to the end of this link: windowsticker.forddirect.com/windowsticker.pdf?vin=
Thanks for the reply u/HolidayDog
You're right. I'll chill out a bit. I live in the north & got a vehicle w/o all the warm & cozy bells & whistles akin to my fav vehicle ever, a 2007 Wrangler. It'll be great to be a little rugged again!
Got my window sticker. For some reason it worked using this link (and adding the VIN) https://www.windowsticker.forddirect.com/windowsticker.pdf?vin=
It still does not work by clicking the link from the "My Orders" section of the Ford website.
