I knew I should have posted one. The unfortunate part is my raptor is in for service. I have a tranny cooler leak. Fun times under 500 miles. Probably something from the assembly line, and glad I noticed it while installing some upgrades, otherwise the leak is so minimal I wouldnt have...
On my raptor I mounted my keypad by the back license plate lip. Where the overhang is for the plate. Fit perfectly and well hidden; not that it needs to be. Sure I gotta get low to punch in the keys, but good enough for the 5x a year I'll probably use the keypad.
On my badlands it went in...
The XL80s throw more light and was concerned about the side light. I didn't want to have to use the covers. I went back and forth on this decision and finally landed on doing the XL80s, but now you have me wondering if I should have done the LP4s....
Great KIT! I wired mine to Aux 1 and the backlighting to factory fog switch. Its pretty awesome to have that backlighting on with the parking lights. Then of course 50k lumens from the LP4s
I thought it was reinforcement. Not exactly the best engineering, but the way it hooks to the spare tire carrier I think it's there to reinforce the carrier should the bolts not hold. Just a guess though
Well, I can see how this particular mount then wouldn't work for you! The fit is pretty universal for "most" wheels with several options. However not this one! LOL
These guys are testing a Raptor mount. I have seen the mount on a non raptor and its pretty sweet. Offered my raptor as a test fit and it is still in design. Pretty cool to be apart of the process. The company obsesses about the details...
The RollnJack I looked at, but found the rear glass door needs to remain open when the top is sitting on the unit. With the Toplift the back glass can completely close saving a ton of room in your storage area
Take your time, watch the video as you go. Pause, watch the video, do the next section, keep going. Took me about 4 hrs to do alone. Having someone help would be beneficial!
I can confirm the ford enclosure and top lift are not compatible unless you remove the enclosure top/lid, which is not an easy or fun task to have to do each time. I ended up removing and installing the slipstream which is very easy to remove and put back the top piece of the actual enclosure...
I did NH when I got my Badlands SAS. Now a raptor owner and I cannot wait for this. The NH experience was incredible! Now out in the desert a completely different experience than NH was and also in a Raptor! Signed up!
I bought a Tesla direct, and it was one of the best car buying experiences I have ever had. No sitting at a desk waiting for the sales manager, or sales associate. Trade is done via uploading pics and vin, and paperwork is all digital. All you do is go to the location to drop off and pick up...
