    I too was pleasantly surprised at the cost of the 2.7L/auto package. It kinda makes the whole X-plan fiasco a wash. I've got 5 builds that are possibilities. I'm really on the fence about 2 door or 4 door Big Bend or Outer Banks.

    Another close comparison would be the Edge ST with the first gen 2.7 Eco boost. It was tested 0-60 at 6.1 sec with 3.39:1 final drive and a curb weight of 4477lbs. Of course, the transmission is different also.

    As much as I dig the idea of 1000hp, I'm thinking the Hummer is going to be ridiculously expensive. And the Tesla is just too weird and also ridiculously expensive...and I don't want a truck.

    just my .02 but I would of bought an electric Bronco in a heartbeat. (My company has free charging stations so I've got a bit of an incentive). If the Bronco thing doesn't happen for any reason, I'll be looking hard at the Mach E.

    I wouldn't hold your breath. I get the impression that dealers live very much in the now and just want to move units in stock.

    I don't know why this should be such a big deal considering the boosted engines make huge torque numbers, which I'm guessing is what all the off-roaders want anyway.

    I think you could ad Muscle Cars to that list. I know very little about Camaros having owned a couple Mustangs. Chevy does have the Corvette going for them which is huge.

    I would go for this in a heartbeat. Anything not to have to step foot in a dealership.

    I think the RS has the same engine as the normal V6. 308HP. It would be cool if it did come with a hot six in it.

    I signed up with MCA and got my X-plan pin all in the same day. I think somebody is saying even though you have an X-plan pin you have to wait 60 days before it becomes active. Am I reading that right?

    I got my last car from Wayne Ford and they were pretty decent and have a good service dept. Unfortunately, I've had way more bad experience than good ones buying a new car in my state.
