I get a constant park aid error, and all the ultrasonics are turned off. Plus my dashcam/mirror that gets power through the same fuse started cycling through the camera views. I'm not sure if that one is related. If I hook up to the obdi port, will it tell me which sensor is messed up or will...
I got my winch finally installed, but I'm having issues with the parking sensors. Any suggestions on how to debug? I got tired of taking everything apart trying to tighten up connections.
I added a Warn Evo 10s on a Rough Country High Winch mount. I relocated the control box under the hood. Works great except for a lingering issue with the parking sensors. I took the bumper off several times trying to fix it but I figure I'll check the DTC's at this point when I get to work.
So I ordered a Gen3 12k Smittybilt winch over the 4th and apparently it hasn't shipped because there's a national backorder. Should I wait it out, any other winch options to explore? I'm mounting to a Rough Country high winch mount.
They've got tons of open logging roads to rip around on, but yeah the trails were super tight. The Gladiator with us was almost too long. BGR is a fun spot, just carry a fire extinguisher if it's been dry, last time I was there i put out a brush fire.
Be careful out in rock run, the vehicle trails are pretty narrow. They're really a place for side by sides and custom rock crawlers. When I turned up with my Bronco and two jeeps they acted like we were crazy. We had fun other than sinking my Bronco, but I didn't get good vibes from them.
Soft top or Hard top? The Jtops Bimini was a game changer with my soft-top I also like the JCR Tailgate table. Also the IAG Soft top Assist and D-Pillar protective kit
So what's the best way to find a group out there if I'm driving out all by myself. wait at the trailhead? post here that I'm looking for partners? hire a guide?
Can I piggy back here? I get a 1 month Sabbatical at work and am planning a road trip from Pittsburgh to Moab. I leave Sept 2nd and have to be back in Pittsburgh by the 22nd. I've Got a stock 4door Badlands Sasquatch with LOD destroyer rock sliders and some rear shock mount skid plates and a...
See my thread the diff tubes are actually up near the hood your limiting factor is the fuse box under your steering wheel. After my adventure the alternator hiccuped a little when the auto shut off system triggered and wouldn't restart, but I just did it manually and that went away after I...
I'm 16 months in and at 15K miles. Mostly a daily driver with some fairly long distance highway runs between Pittsburgh and NYC about every 2 months. I've taken it offroading 4 times and am still relatively new at this, but I did this my first time out:
The only real fallout from this was the...
So I got my unit replaced and it works great, except for after about 30 -40 minutes it starts blinking on and off. I've opened up the Fuse box and the controller box feels really hot. I haven't gotten an IR thermometer on it but I've noticed the box basically sits on the Defrost and Main vents...
So I shifted them all as far outside as they'd go and moved from the inside out. I aimed the vertical first, then would slide it into place for the horizontal. Not perfect, but seems to work.
I got my lights installed and functional, but how the heck do you all aim these things? I can't fit any sort of allen key in there. Do you all have tips or am I pulling this thing off after each one is aimed?
