Added the kicker key 200.4 today made a big difference in the sound rounded out the rest of my speaker mods sounds good to my old ears

I feel they same way about the mabett pods as I had them and switched over to the ssv I didn't like the way the mabett covers a lot of the speaker. I could tell a big difference between the two pods and sound quality.

Well I got bumped again my email says it will now be built Sept 25 was October 10 from August 25th

Ssv pods for the win

They sounded ok but I didn't like that they covered a lot of the speaker, noticed a big difference in the sound quality when I switched.

Went from mabett pods to ssv pods

Took it apart again added poly fill and some sound deadening to the housing area and on the sub box itself. I also plugged up the port seems like it hits a bit harder sharper.

So following this thread and others, made speaker upgrades to my 2 door and did the sub woofer with a kicker 8 in to factory sub box plus made all the forscan changes. To send full power to the rear speakers and the sub, but never really liked the sound of the system. Sounded hollow and muffled...

Had my headliner replaced last week took them a few days. But looks good. Holding up to the heat here in el paso has been 110 for the last week so looking good so far.
