Is the “dealership owner” not someone? Could be someone who wanted a hard top but didn’t want to wait so they changed to soft. Then decided they hated the soft top and got rid of it. Or they just saw a chance to make a profit, or they got it at auction.

Someone sold/traded it in, same as any other used car. Did you want them to get it to a reservation holder somehow?

These systems are automated, they aren’t specifically uploading your vehicle. One local dealer throws 10k on special orders to limit calls, another throws up a sold picture. Waiting for the explanation seems like a bad idea though.

The parts are the issue though, and then the Raptor and Everglades will be another issue. Ford will get a premium for these and will certainly maximize their profit and revenue by further delaying reserved builds to ensure parts for more profitable vehicles.

Thanks, have a 99'd order with Granger, but put in a non-reservation order with a smaller local dealer who agreed to MSRP. They didn't have any reservations open, unsure on what their allocation is though.
