I think you’re right re: financing through the dealership. Especially bc I can just pay cash for the mods as time goes on, so like why get crazy. Gives me something to tinker with in the months and years to come, which is half the fun.
Re: my spouse, well, he has very stubby legs to be honest...
OK, friends...I have some essential decisions to make, and I'm hoping to get your expert input (looking to you, @Cat, since you literally know everything about everything...typical engineer!).
So my Eruption Green 2dr Base has arrived in TX and should be at the dealer in the next 2-5 days. I...
Good news (attn.: @skweaz): my railcar has arrived at its final destination in San Antonio. Now...to be shipped via road to the dealer in Austin.
UnitedRoad has two entries for my VIN, both say "cancelled", so I assume maybe they're using someone else to get the Bronco up to the dealer...

Crossed the great Midwest, man.
It's breathed the Ozark air, man.
It's been everywhere.
… It's been to:
Wayne, Toledo, Cincinnati, Louisville...
Just checked and my train left a town near Texarkana last night at 11:00…so hopefully in Texas by now.
Union Pacific gives an estimated arrival in San Antonio of Wednesday morning. Then the Bronco’s gotta be trucked up to Austin. Really hoping that doesn’t take too long. EDD is 1/7 - 1/23, so...
No, we’re just in various states of exhaustion and frustration from watching trains move crazy slow, or trucks sit at MAP…some of us probably have carpal tunnel from refreshing the trackers and typing in car train numbers so many damn times!
You talking about on the United Road site? Mine's said that for ages; in fact there are two entries for my VIN, both cancelled. I'm not worried about it...figure they'll put in a new order when my truck arrives.
