If it is advertised as a power port, plugging a cigarette lighter in it will probably melt the plastic panel it is mounted in or blow the fuse. The actual smokers package has materials to mitigate the heat.
I am sure corporate backing/money is great. But Ken Block has a big following. I think it will be good for him to not be locked into one manufacturer. Any body (Ford, Chevy, Dodge, etc.) could be put on the highly modified chassis he runs in those videos.

Ford is offering what I want in 2021. There will always be "Red Flags" as well as "new shiny objects" next year, but that does not mean they will be better.
Ford is going to tune the Bronco for the best possible handling, ride and noise.
I don't see any reason the OP should expect his friend to not enjoy it from the factory. The people that add lifts, bigger/different tires, light bars and other stuff that makes noise for a "Look" are the ones...
I agree. Painted modular top screams chips, scratches and digs in the paint from taking it off and storage. I think the MIC would be more resistant to those.

After looking at them yesterday, I must say I am encouraged over all. Yes every question to the sells staff was answered with "these are Pre-production units." The 2 door size is perfect!!
