Yeah, I know I shouldnāt drive it. 100 miles wonāt kill the tires, should be good to go after the alignment Tuesday. Broke down and laid the coin out for Bronc Busters housing, and bushing, got those put in tonight. Hate to break the rack out in Moab in May, when I have to drive 1,000 miles home...
That sounds encouraging. Drove it to work today, 20 miles round trip. Hasnāt settled much yet. Going to park it until Tuesday, when I have an appointment for an alignment. Camber is way off, some interesting handling right now. I may play With the LCA bolts and give it an eyeball alignment, the...
Got the rear springs done, got an inch of lift in the rear. Definitely got the Carolina squat going on. Ordered up some top hat spacers, hopefully that will get me to where I need to be.
Installed my Midlands radio tonight. Have a Mountains2Metal cowl mount, but decided not to use it. Made my own bracket, installed it on a Hammerbuilt tailgate plate.
Got the front springs installed tonight. More lift than expected, got 3ā. LCA bolts torqued with wheels on ground full weight. Wondering if they will settle a bit after I drive it. Kind of worried I may not get enough lift out of the back, guess Iāll find out once I get the back done.
I installed mine with Fordās wire. Ground wire from the KC light bar to a bolt up in the roll bar. No need to run a separate ground wire up. They work great.
Any plans for a stand alone antennae bracket that bolts directly to the tire support plate. Looking for a simple bracket, and donāt need the accessory bracket used for rotopax, and boards.
Tricky Dick, if you bring me a bag of burgers from Dickās in Spokane, I will run White Rim! I lived in the Spokane area for a few years, and miss those. š
The more I think of running the whole White Rim, the more I want to do it. Just not sure if the wife will be down for 12 hours of trail, a day after spending 17 hours on the road to get to Moab.
At least we have a couple of months to think about it.
Im rolling in 4/30, and am definitely down for Schaefer on 5/1, and possibly a night run. As far as the rest of the week, I paid for the Safari, so plan on running trails with the Safari. Looking at their past events, it appears you have different groups hitting different trails, so should be...
