Definitely recommend cutting the rock rails, I cut mine with a 12"miter saw. The angles were 12 degrees and 17 degrees. I cut off 1 3/8". The 2.7 has those mounts for oil cooler I believe.
These Boggers measure right at 38" with 30 psi in them off the vehicle. They do look different, I know there are various part numbers for the beadlock rings. These are M-1021-RA1, I purchased these individually on Ebay. It was alot cheaper.
Honestly, they are really quite. People have a misconception about these tires. I have run many sets of Boggers in the past. These are off-road only, I swap tires back and forth. I trailer this setup when going wheelin'.
Huh. I did not have an issue, I thought at first I would before mounting. I measured everything, I mounted anyway and it worked. It took a long time torqueing all the bolts, but it bottomed out and no gaps at the end. I highly recommend Bead Buster paste. https://beadbuster.com/product/acc-tml/
I have followed your thread and I am doing 38.5 Boggers soon (in transit). Just checking to see anymore feed back or mods you have done. I have done 1" wheel spacers, JKS kit, 1.5 perch collars frt, 1" ebay leveling kit frt, 1.5 ebay top hat spacer rear, 3/4" body lift, RC high winch mount...
I have installed the JKS kit and it has plenty of room. I do not understand how the DV8 would have more room, if possible. The majority of the rubbing comes from the crash bars. Check out the thread I provided, he installed 38's with minimal lift. I have 38.5 Boggers coming soon to be installed.
Gotcha. Thanks for trying. My Ford Performance beadlock rings should be here today. I still need to order my Boggers. Hopefully a solution will come up soon. Let's go Tricky! @Tricky Dick
