I haven't had the doors off. The damage to the door was from the factory and that damage shows up on it's baby picture. It's still sitting in my garage dirty and hasn't moved at all. All I've done to it is add the stuff I've bought or got as gifts over the last almost 3 years.
I'm glad I put...
It was pretty glaring and hard to miss and the dark blue touch up paint they gobbed onto it made it stand out more and instantly drew my eyes to how badly things were aligned on the driver's side. The gap was so small at the bottom, that if it would've had mud or snow/ice build-up on the edge...
I'll get a picture or two of mine as proof I'm in the 2Dr club (for a little while), but right now it's still dirty from when it was delivered 8 days ago and I haven't driven it at all.
I've been trying to get to finish up the downstairs of my condo, so I've been doing stuff here and there, but...
If the WT Sasquatch assembly you purchased are the Bilstien and not the Fox from Hoss 3.0 WT, then there's really no difference other than the slightly higher ride height they offer. The Fox will offer a slightly different ride, (I think a bit smoother) from what I've read.
There are members...
All depends on how long it takes to rectify what's causing the 'stop build'. If it's actually the hard top causing it, then it's anybody's guess as to when.
If I remember correctly, there are at least a couple members with +30 RTR wheels running 315/70/17 tires on Sasquatch and non-Sasquatch Broncos.
I don't remember any of them saying they had rubbing, but they removed the crash bars on non-Sasquatch.
The outside of the wheel sits in the same...
Unless something has changed, they're offering the Ranger Raptor at MSRP.
Also as someone who's on their Ranger Raptor waiting list, I've heard they aren't taking any more 'hand raisers' for the waiting list because it's fairly long already and without knowing how many they will be allocated...
I have no way to get there and I do have a smaller local airport.
At this point, I'm still not sure I'll end up buying the Bronco. It all hinges on if pricing is released with the order guide for the Ranger Raptor on the May 10th Dealer webinar.
That's $400 to $500 cheaper than any quote I got to out here.
My one-way plane tickets are in the $600 to $700 range for morning/afternoon arrival and 22hrs long (two long layovers). The $500 7hr flight leaves at 2pm my time and arrives in Iowa at midnight. 😒
I find it amusing that they announce this while N.A has only heard crickets chirping about it's version with order-banks supposedly opening in 5 weeks. 😒
I was referring to the engine not the suspension, since I know the RRaptor gets the Fox 2.5 suspension.
I guess I shouldn't have been lazy and added an 'L' after the 3.0 instead of just a comma.
because the 2Dr factory top isn't the greatest quality wise?
🤷♂️
There will be a market for them, not as big as the 4Dr market, but some people WILL eventually get fed up with the factory top and look for another alternative when warranty won't cover it or the warranty is done.
My guess wasn't really based on parts they share, but more on simplifying the assembly process across the Ranger and Bronco.
The Ranger Raptor is essentially a Badlands Bronco with a 3.0, Fox live-valve suspension but minus the stay-bar disconnect. (over simplified but gets the basic point...
Just a hypothetical uneducated guess on my part, but this could be a move to help synergize production when the G6 Ranger starts up in Aug and it could also hit at the Ranger Raptor being available from the start.
Estimated delivery date of 5-1 to 5-7.
Unless shipping has some how miraculously improved I doubt it'll be true, but if it is, it looks like buying it is the path I'll need to take.
