Ford’s piss poor handling of the Bronco is why I’m a Jeep guy… after being a Ford guy for decades. It wasn’t Jeep that turned me to Jeep, it was Ford.
I remember when people supported each other because of the love of off-roading and the great outdoors. Didn’t matter what garbage you drove. And back then nobody took the Bronco seriously either.

Much of the time ford just changes the module identifiers or something minor in the protocol. They’re not going to rewrite the entire module firmware. So it’s usually a matter of mapping the tool to the new indexes etc.
Sorry that’s not correct. If you have a built in nav then it uses your vehicles GPS when it communicates with the vehicle.

CarPlay uses the built in GPS on the vehicle when connected. So something like TomTom, which supports offline maps, would still work. Not sure what Waze does.
On both 4 and 6, anything louder than the stock just sounds like trying to be cool. I’ve been meaning to find the quietest low profile exhaust out there.
