  1. AREA 51 Bronco Club

There's an A51 Big Bend under there, I promise! 😄 This was in Government Camp, OR this past Saturday. I'm a ski patrol alumni and carpooled over to Meadows from the patrol building in Govy. This was how it looked when I got back. Remote start and a brush got things cleared off enough to head...
  2. Crashed Mine... 45mph T-Bone [Updated w/ Photos]

Oof, rough stuff. Fractured sternum is no joke. Did mine skiing as a kid and got the hiccups a few days after. Hurt like a bastard. Speedy recovery to ya, and hope the insurance company sorts you out well.
  3. Goat Mountain, Oregon

Thanks for putting it together, Dave! Fun drive. I estimated that bag weighed about 20lbs after the cleanup at the lake. Just sad.
  4. Trail Mater tows out Bronco with punctured transmission pan

*moves "xmsn skid plate" to top of wish list 😄
  5. Radio rebooting

Mine did this a couple times last week but has been fine the last few times I drove it. Edit: last Power-up for me was Nov 3, v 4.2.3. But I don't think this happened to me until maybe a week or so later.
  6. Best PNW Trails for our Broncos?

If you're looking for trails with views, you could do a lot worse than the Nicolai Mountain Loop that @swooshdave and I did this past weekend. It's a curated trail in the Bronco Trail App. Awesome views of Mt. Hood, St. Helens, Rainier, and Adams at various points, if you go on a clear day...
  7. Nicolai Mountain OHV Trail

I feel like the stuff we did at Browns Camp was pretty challenging, and we didn't even hit some of the higher-rated trails that day, like FireBreak 5 or Hoodraiser. Might be worth a return trip. I probably ought to add some skid plates first, though. And maybe that lift I keep thinking about...😁...
  8. Can’t get trail app to work.

I haven't seen that second screen before. Odd. I seem to be able to do everything except record video. I'm on v1.0.5 (iOS) of the app, Power-Up 4.2.3. Recording video used to work for me on 1.0.3. A buddy of mine was able to record video on 1.0.5 the other day, so I have no idea what's up...
  9. Mt. Hood Trail Ride

It's sure been nice to have. I've used mine a couple times on the trails with Will & Carlo. No time wasted on startup, actually cuts pretty fast. Not a very long bar at 14", but we haven't encountered much bigger than 10"-12" yet.
  10. Mt. Hood Trail Ride

Well, heck. I should have lent someone my little battery-powered chainsaw, looks like. 😄
  11. Mt. Hood Trail Ride

Bummed to have missed out on this one! Would have been fun to get back up there with a little snow. 😄
  12. Best PNW Trails for our Broncos?

Add Bennett Pass Road (AKA Forest Road 3550) to the list for a nice one that's close to the Portland Metro Area. Nothing very challenging, but a lot of long rocky sections. There are a handful of shelf road sections with scree fields above and/or below, some of them get pretty narrow. OnX has...
  13. Big Bend, Badlands, Bennett Pass

Went out with @WillRCTID on Saturday to check out Bennett Pass Road in Mt. Hood National Forest. It's a 'curated trail' in the Bronco Trail App, FWIW, and a featured trail in OnX. We'd been eyeing it for a while, since the views we've seen online from various spots looked spectacular. The...
  14. Siri quit working for with Fordpass for me.

I deleted and re-downloaded all the Shortcuts and they work. I had to redo the authentication on the Get FordPass Token one, and say yes to the permissions question on the others that use the Get FordPass Token and Get Vehicle Status shortcuts. Link in this post...
  15. Hands-free phone background noise

No issues in mine, either. Sounds about as good as it did in my '18 Escape.
