We should get notified by Ford before 8/15 if we'll make the cut or get rolled over to 23. That's what happened last year. In theory, those with earlier reservations will take presidence over any new orders.
I love how some people think rock crawling is the only form of offroading. Gatekeep much? Some of us live in parts of the country without rocks, but we've got mud, sand, hill climbs, snow, etc.
At best, i'd say the substitute sales rep didn't communicate with your regular sales rep that your order was placed for a Wildtrak. There most likely is a BD order and a WT order under your name. However, what they are saying about the WT wait time may be accurate. I'm at almost 2 years waiting...
I'm 6'4ish. I don't have my bronco yet, but I have driven both 2 and 4 door. I'd say the 2 door is slightly more comfortable with the pillar being further back. However, I drove a 4 door for roughly 8 hours at Offroadeo and never felt uncomfortable.
I really like that and I don't usually like topo-themed stuff. I think it's because yours are more like accent pieces rather than the usual topo everything on the vehicle. Well done!
The taillights gap is a known issue. I've seen reports on here of them popping off. The one I remember most occurred while the owner was at one of the Supercel events.
