Had an issue with the trail view yesterday, when driving at about 60mph the hook came off and the top went straight up causing a huge wind gust down on my face blowing my hat and sunglasses off. Scared the crap out of me, anyway the hook rubber had worn and failed so I had to go in there and put...
If you have a hardtop check your side glass, I had a noise I thought was coming from the sub area and it was the passenger side glass. When I was washing it I noticed the movement then could replicate by pushing out on the glass from the inside. Ford had to re-glue the window to fix.
That looks like the same size hole mine was, I used the Rampage nuts and they're in there very tight. The ridges on the other ones made me feel like instead of sandwiching down they would also dig into the paint and I didn't want that.
#1 - No you can take them off together which is what I did last weekend. If you store the windows up top you will probably have to take it out.
#2 - I know you were worried about the female piece fitting into your roll bar, you can test that now by simply removing the front panels. As far as...
Bestop has everything I want available for the Wrangler so I called them last year since they're local here in CO. Offered to bring my Bronco in for sizing or whatever so they could make some alterations to the Wrangler stuff for the Bronco. All I got was "we have no plans to do anything other...

I've been reading this thread and I keep seeing comments that a 4Runner isn't competition for the Wrangler/Bronco. That doesn't make sense to me unless you're simply looking at a removable top and more offroad capability. These all are SUV's and 98% of them are mall crawlers, we needed a 4 door...
Correct I have 2 round spacers at all 4 corners now. In the rear you can't get anymore spacers on top since there's not enough threads on the top bolts.
If you need more than a 1/2 inch more in the rear you may want to try to find a spacer that goes under the top hat to compress the spring.
I did the exact thing you're asking about, I bought 2 RC level kits and did the full kit front and the 2 round spacers in the rear. You don't get much in the rear and I thought it was still nose high, I ended up removing the lower spacers on the front and now it has the look I wanted. Here's a...
