Last night I got an alert for park break failure. Lots of loud flashing lights. I figured since it's the park brake I could still drive, but went like 40yrds and more and different alerts started going off pertaining to the brakes. So I'm not risking it. Ford can pay for that tow.

Thx. I promise you, no lie, I searched and nothing came up. Why I created this post. :) Now, the alarm goes off before I even turn the car on. As soon as I open the door it starts dinging and flashing. Anyway, having it towed today. since it's a brake alarm, I'm not risking it. Dealer can fix...

this got me last night. having it towed to the dealer this afternoon. I don't care what anyone says on it being drivable or not, I'm not risking it when the car is yelling at me and there's a red flashing BRAKE alarm going off. fun times.

no. it won't engage. and i thought bc it was the parking break i'd still be able to drive it. but more alarms starting going off and flashing lights. I didn't make it 40yds before i turned around and parked it back in the driveway. haven't started it this morning yet tho.

Whenever the car tells you to do it. :) I don't drive a lot (WFH), so I think I once read that no matter what you should at least do it once a year. So I bought my Bronco in Nov '21, got it's first oil change in Nov '22 when I had to get it's yearly inspection. I think I was around 6k miles?

good idea. I was already figuring when I go back, they're just going to swap the spare with one of the tires, and then likely the next time I went the spare would end up being the spare again and completely render the 5 tire rotation useless. haha. this way I can show them how it should be done.

funny you say that. That absolutely happened on one of our cars. the tires dry rotted before they wore completely down. I mean, I work from home, and my wife doesn't work. So not a ton of driving around here. My oil changes are free! 😁 but stupid PA and their yearly inspection money maker...

completely agree. Since it has a full rim on it and everything I'm like why wouldn't I rotate it in. I figured it does. I'll just have him swap it with a different tire when I go back.
