  1. 4A or 2H? Which is the best?

You might be surprised, but the 2.3 EcoBoost has peak efficiency between 2K and 4K rpm!
  2. 4A or 2H? Which is the best?

Can you start the truck in sport mode, or does it default to normal mode?
  3. 4A or 2H? Which is the best?

I have a Badlands, so I'm missing sport mode. I plan to ForScan this at some point.
  4. 4A or 2H? Which is the best?

Most transfer cases have clutches inside. These can go between "open" and "closed". With no power input the clutch in the transfer case would be open, thus free spinning the front prop shaft. My understanding is that 4A is having the computer/electronics control this instead of an old school...
  5. 4A or 2H? Which is the best?

This is what I do too. Maybe my claim of "improves handling" is a misnomer. What I should have said was that the steering feel and road grip was noticeably better.
  6. 4A or 2H? Which is the best?

Yeah this! I'm pretty sure I read this in the owners manual.
  7. 4A or 2H? Which is the best?

I suspect that people that are blowing up the front diff are doing more than "normal driving"
  8. 4A or 2H? Which is the best?

I'm an automotive engineer (I never designed any drive train), but my understanding is that 2H the engine only turns the back axle.
  9. 4A or 2H? Which is the best?

I think I'll try this then. I image that the non sas badlands has much less drive line resistance due to 33 tires and not 35s. Maybe this is partially due to the front axle not being dead weight? Maybe @Ford can confirm?
  10. 4A or 2H? Which is the best?

I'm not locking the front diff, just the center diff/transfer case. I'm pretty sure that 4A is "unlocked" or slip for on road driving and 4H locks the transfer case so front and rear prop shafts can spin at the same speed. I wouldn't want to snap an axle with the front diff locked haha! I'll...
  11. 4A or 2H? Which is the best?

I'm pretty sure it's in 4A, but I'll check. My understand of how it works based on what I have read is that 4A allows slip and 4H locks the transfer case. I certainly wouldn't want to use 4H on the road!
  12. 4A or 2H? Which is the best?

I still need to ForScan sport mode onto my truck. If it's only a nominal difference in MPG, it might be worth it.
  13. 4A or 2H? Which is the best?

I came across this issue by accident. I usually switch my truck to 4A for adverse conditions, such as rain, snow, or sleet. This morning I did not turn it off after a big rain and I noticed that the front end felt a lot tighter and the truck handled reasonable better (Not that the handling was...
  14. Best Fog Light Kit Choice?

I lived in AZ until about 2 months ago. I honestly miss it. The off-roading was stellar! Maybe the best in the nation.
  15. Best Fog Light Kit Choice?

I mounted my KC Pro6s with the SPV bracket. I’m pretty happy with that setup. Honestly, I had not heard of Heretic until today.
  16. Best Fog Light Kit Choice?

I have a '23 Badlands Sasquatch with the mod bumper. I plan on upgrading it to run fog/trail lights. I kind of have my choice made, but I'd like to hear everyone's thoughts on this. I have it narrowed down to 3 prime choices. I also plan to switch out the light controller, so I can have a fog...
