  1. [Update: Tentative Deal Reached 9/15 to Avoid Strike!] Bronco rail train loading suspended as of 9/14 (Impending Rail Strike / Lockout)

These people are in situations where they can’t even take unpaid time off to see a doctor due to staffing issues. The rail companies have been holding back wages for years and it’s been leading to massive industry flight, upwards of 25% in 5 years. Thats put huge burdens on the people still...

  3. 34's no lift Black Diamond

Looks great! Did you custom mount those mudflaps?
  4. First Dyno Runs for the 2022 Bronco Raptor [Video]

You dyno in the 1:1 gear to get the most accurate BHP calculation. That's 3rd or 4th gear in a large number of 5 and 6 speed cars.
  5. ⚡️ 2024 Jeep RECON EV revealed as all-electric Wrangler! Resembles a Bronco with fixed roof!

An EV with a range extender is still an EV, the REX is just insurance. It's 100% a stopgap until BEVs get even more range in challenging conditions, but if I'm taking an EV into the woods in 2022 it's the way I would do it.
  6. Portland Area Dealer Discussions

Yeah guess I overstated things. It's more about the markups than anything else. Especially when they're nearly doubling the cost of these things when applied to lower-end models.
  7. ⚡️ 2024 Jeep RECON EV revealed as all-electric Wrangler! Resembles a Bronco with fixed roof!

Not really. This is how range extender EVs and a lot of hybrids work. Also trains. That's how trains work.

I mean, the Defender starts at 54K and you can get a decently equipped Inline 6 Defender for 65-70k. That's 100% comparable to what a lot of people are paying for badlands or wildtrak models after these markups. There are also a ton of people, like me, who couldn't care less about the roof or...

Yep, it's so dumb. Back in January I ordered from a buddy who manages a dealer in AZ just to avoid this markup nonsense. Figure it'll be a nice excuse for a road trip home through Utah. I honestly don't know who's spending this much on these things. I have a base on order because I just want...
  10. Who's adding Keyless Keypad Entry and why?

What if I also want to lock my phone in at the same time? Or if I'm parked in a place without cell reception? Need the keypad. For people who want the keypad, it's an irreplaceable feature.
  11. Who's adding Keyless Keypad Entry and why?

Had it on my 99 Explorer and the keypad got used all the time when getting things from the car or locking the keys in while at the beach or in a kayak. For 100ish bucks it's an easy choice for me.

Damerow got in touch with me last week about a stick Big Bend. They want 20K over sticker for it. I'm still laughing about it.
  13. Increase Your Ford’s Bronco Traction Off-Road With ARB Air Locker

This is super cool of ARB. I got a manual Bronco and stuck to the base because Ford's options and package costs with the stick are absurd. Lack of a locker is the one thing that gave me pause on it. Here's hoping I get to fix that issue ahead of schedule. Thanks!
