  1. 2025 Suspension Recommendations (by Snacktime)

I have 6100's on my non Sas Badlands 2dr with 35x11.5R17's. I did 2 1/2" lift in front and a 1" in rear. This accounted for the factory rake and the additional rake caused by the front winch, winch mount and dual ARB under the hood. Verry happy with the 6100's!
  2. any recommendations on a jump starter?

I have this, it works great! My son also uses it for his 1970 Nova SS...
  3. 12k Winch Comparison: Pull Strength, Pull Speed, Power Amp Draw

All of my previous Jeeps, except for my 1987 YJ, had Warn winches. My YJ had a Ramsey.. Warn Evo's winches are made in China but Warns prices for them, are still pretty high when compared to other winch brands. Warn does have a good warranty but I am not sure it's worth the extra cost. For my...
  4. Wolfbox G900 Pro DashCam with the rear camera installed as a Front Trail camera.

The driver side visor does hit the Wolfbox mirror when trying to fold it as far forward as it can go. The passenger side visor does not hit the mirror at all..
  5. Wolfbox G900 Pro DashCam with the rear camera installed as a Front Trail camera.

My license plate bracket came in so I am going to mount the camera to it, and then mount it in the location that I highlighted in post 5.. I'll update after it's moved. If you don't have a winch then there might be better placement options for the camera when used up front.
  6. Wolfbox G900 Pro DashCam with the rear camera installed as a Front Trail camera.

I might try and move the camera up a little. I ordered this license plate camera bracket. It's specifically for the G900 Pro 'rear' camera: My plan is to either mount it via screws or weld the bracket here in this location: Then mount the camera to the license plate bracket. This would...
  7. Wolfbox G900 Pro DashCam with the rear camera installed as a Front Trail camera.

The 'rear' camera, since it's being used as a front trail camera, was just ran directly from the camera to the G900's mirror input.. I did not tie it into an aux switch as I want it always available and recording footage.. Hope that answers your question..
  8. Wolfbox G900 Pro DashCam with the rear camera installed as a Front Trail camera.

Wolfobx sent me the G900 Pro DashCam for free in exchange for sharing my thoughts on the system. Photos and video samples provided at the end of this post. I got the mirror / dashcam and the 'rear' camera of the Wolfbox G900 Pro dash cam installed the other day. I installed the 'rear' /...
  9. Do (mostly) no issues Broncos exist?

2023 Badlands, 2.3L, non Sas and not a single issue thus far. Well, other than Sync 4 APIM modules are terrible. About once a week I need to reboot the screen to get it to cooperate.. Some have went though several APIM modules so I am not going to even bother since it's random and intermittent..
  10. Bronco Team 2 door.

The top of the tire was right to the bottom off the 3rd brake light, obstructing it by a few centimeters. I added this extension bracket and now it clears easily. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09BPMS7W8
  11. Another failing/failed MIC top. May/23 mfg date

I had the hardtop on one of my previous Jeep JKUR's 'bed-lined'. It held up well! No complaints at all and I'd do it again if necessary. Can't recall how much I paid though but it was not terribly expensive if I recall correctly..
  12. Got some new shoes today: Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT Tires in 35x12.5 r17

Those are manufacturer specs and are not what you get once mounted and under vehicle load. For instance, most 315/75R17's are going to come in somewhere around 33 1/4" when mounted and under vehicle load. A 35x12.5R17 will probably come in somewhere around 34 1/4" when mounted and under...
  13. A Sasquatch capable air compressor that isn’t huge and bulky?

315/70R17 are not 35's.. Once you mount them and put them under vehicle load they'll come in about 33 1/4" Even a 'true' 35, something like a 35x12.5R17 will come in short at about 34 1/4" after mounted and under vehicle load. Not sure why people keep calling 315's - 35's because they are not...
  14. Columbia River Gorge Off-Road Day Trip

Most of the trails in this area are easy.. There are a few moderate trails but the views are amazing. I think you'll enjoy wheeling the area. There are also numerous dispersed camping spots, a few along creeks and several with amazing views.
  15. Columbia River Gorge Off-Road Day Trip

I went out for a full day of off-roading in the Columbia River Gorge area. I had several trails I wanted to get mapped and uploaded for onX. Most of the trails were easy, but there were a few that were moderate. Overall it was a fun filled day of 4 wheeling the area. The area map: (the teal...
  16. Overlanding Camping Trailers

I ended up purchasing this. A new 2023 Taxa TigerMoth - Overland edition. It was over budget at $17,900 but the deal was to good to pass on. It comes with the Thule Tepui 3 person RTT that I won't need or use so I will sell it on the cheap to get a little cash back.
