Hey all, I have a 2 door with the B&O system and honestly I’d be happy with how it sounds… except that the sub has a very odd “popping” sound on some songs at very moderate volume levels. I thought maybe it was trim rattling, but after I got back there with a song playing it really abounds...

Build code 21305 - so November 1, 2021. 2436 miles so far, all good.

Ended up taking this back to the dealer and let them remove them - even with heat, they messed up both bolts I was having trouble with. Thankfully I did have two more spares from when I ordered the original 3. Glad I let them do it as they are ordering 2 bolts to replace these ones. they left...

We are thankfully nowhere near that point. The heads on these are fine - dealer was able to get the damaged one out that is now replaced “with heat” but installed the ring in the wrong position. Need to figure out what kind of “heat” they may have used so I can just do this correctly now

So a heat gun or soldering iron? The current blot heads are all 100% fine so I shouldn’t be replacing any unless something further happens. I just need to get the two stubborn ones out now.

So back to the issue at hand - and no these are definitely not Torx Plus - I got a Torx Plus bit set so I could remove the modular front bumper bolts, and these are not that shape. I saw someone mention contact with a soldering iron; would a heat gun possibly help? Seems like a small torch...

I was very clear with my dealer not to install the front plate bracket or put any decals on before delivery, and they agreed. When I picked up, I was thrilled not to have holes in my front end, but they did put a vinyl on. Annoying, but the XPEL installers removed it for me a couple of days...

OMG GUYS ITS AT THE DEALERSHIP

Mines been sitting at the Rolla rail yard in Commerce City, CO since the 14th - 15 minutes drive to the dealership. Come on guys!!

If the dealer thinks they are helping their case with all of the angry replies to the review bombs- lol just making things worse buddy.

My Denver area bound 2 door is on TTGX992868 - last update as in Nebraska. Still due in to the destination yard in Colorado tomorrow... hope it doesnt sit in the yard forever!
