yep agreed. i'm still a bit butt hurt about the whole missing white top thing (i really wanted a retro bronco) but i'll survive without it. $30k for a manual 2-door bronco makes me a very happy man.
Wow thank you I totally missed that! I'm base all the way but I was actually like "why the heck haven't I seen the standard lights anywhere" when in fact I was looking right at them the whole time!
Dude you are making my DAY. Frack i was going crazy trying to find the damn base lights. I thought all of these were signature. The chrome ring is really pulling it off! Man thank you very much for explaining the difference for me.
Agreed! But keep in mind it's got the signature headlights in this version (which isn't offered) right?
Edit: I have recently learned that I've been mistaking the base lights for the signature lights! My statement here was incorrect!
Yeah i think that base (second link) actually has the signature headlights (not actually offered on that trim) - and aren't those badland ones also the signature? I thought the "ring" was the signature lights?
Yeah i was like man I"m definitely getting the base if it looks like that! I have yet to see a single picture of a normal base model 2 door with all correct parts/wheels etc.
Is there no one at ford we can ask if this will be possible? Seems crazy they won't let you adjust for tire sizes... What about winter tires? At least let the dealers do it if it needs to be verified for mileage purposes.
Yes now looking back at the order sheet I think you're right. Black Modular top is optional for big bend but not base. (43V) - well shuck that totally is a bummer. The white top is so essential to the bronco in my mind.
i'll just have to order it as a part later instead of waiting. Will...
I don't want to wait for a white top if it won't be available on my trim level. I've tried searching repeatedly but can't seem to confirm if we have an answer.
2 Door Base Manual here....white top from factory is a must-have for me.
i have owned quite a few cars of all speeds and sizes and I can tell you one thing... I cannot wait to drive my 2.3 2 door manual base off that lot. Between the weight savings, the better gearing, the granny gear, and the price, I feel like there’s gonna be some magic in this car.
So, let's say I want a white top. But I reserved very, very late and will almost certainly get a MY22 anyway. Should I just place my order now and then i'll get an option to swap to a white top later?
okay reading it again, i think that "available on all series" may mean "get the sasquatch package" - honestly i don't know, but i think it's clear we on't get locking rear diff on base without squatch
It says all series include electronically locking front and rear axles. I'm assuming this is just standard 4x4, not lockers right? Also says push button start and keyless entry included on base! I don't know why but i thought i read that was only available on higher trims... One more happy...
