I have a wife, two small kids, and two dogs. For what it's worth in making your decision, I haven't for a second considered the 2-door (I also, like you, prefer the look of the 4-door).

Yes. BD tails have always been non-LED. That and the lack of 12” screen are my hang ups on BD for a 2021/22 vehicle.

This is exactly how it’s been described by at least one dealer on this site. Everyone is ordering and then any that get pushed will have to submit a new order for 2022. Makes sense - if order conversion is lower than Ford is predicting, all orders may end up being a 2021.

I think the clarification you are looking for is whether they are choosing to honor X-plan pricing with a valid PIN even though Ford is not (currently) supporting it.

Could be the case. I’m at the top end of the “millennial” age, and I certainly don’t share a lot of the feelings that are expressed about the interiors (and exterior colors) on here. I also don’t get the obsession with matching the interior trim colors to the exterior (which doesn’t seem to be...

The only ”official” information i can recall is from the Badlands Overlander concept build walk around video and press release because that concept includes the cargo management system. not sure if it was mentioned as an official Ford accessory though.

I think the materials walk through stated that only the two door gets the exposed door panel so the 360 view may be incorrect. Confirming that would require watching that video again though....

I guess I just don’t see it? The base and BD look much more like it.

I personally don’t understand the love for the odd colored bubble slat BB grill that to me is the worst of the bunch or the BB wheels. BD looks so much better (without adding those $995 wheels in the comparison). This comparison also really downplays the MGV and washout interior of BD as well...

This. The recessed 8" screen with those thick dash bezels is . . . terrible. Looks like a first gen infotainment system from 10 years ago, especially for a vehicle delivered in 2021/22 (to go along with the non-LED taillights).
