I noticed a difference between 93 and 91 on my 6K mile road trip. I started with 93 and when I got to AZ and CA it wasn’t available (91 only) Less oomph for sure. Of course I’m pushing 35s with my 2.3 manual so that may be why the little extra is noticeable.
Just drove 3000 miles to KOH week in Johnson Valley. Tires are awesome. I think being 10.50s the roll easier. I can get 20-21 ( corrected) mpg under 70 and after that it mpg goes downhill fast. Im loving the combo.
Try driving around at King of the Hammers in a cloud of dust and the damn recirculate turns off constantly. I was trying to keep all of Johnson Valley out of my interior. Didn’t they test the Bronco there?
I’m putting 35x10.50x17s on my manbase. Been running 32s for 5k miles now. I may install a complete elocker axle/shafts from Ford performance up front (which will carry its own warranty) and Im still thousands less than a Squatch.
At 15K miles annually the difference between 18 mpg and 26mpg at $4 gallon will save you approx. $1000 Annually.
I get 22 all the time with my 2dr Base manual and perfectly happy with that.
Offered in ratios that do not match the factory diffs. 4.56 v 4.46. Who’s idea was that? I would love to upgrade the front with an e-locker to match the rear ratio on my base without having to doing the rear.
