  1. Ford Bronco ARB BASE Rack – First Look!

Actually, drilling thru the roof to tie-in a rack to the underlying OEM structure is not unusual... and very strong/secure. ARB racks already do this for Jeep Wranglers and Rhino-Rack's own awesome Backbone system for the Jeep also requires drilling (a total of 12 holes) thru the roof.
  2. Add more storage space and organization to your Bronco with ARB’s Modular Drawer System

Thanks for posting information! Great details and explanation of your drawer system. I have huge respect for ARB products. Regarding this current drawer system, I have two concerns: 1) The single drawer system seems to cover up/render useless potential storage space between the drawer sides...
  3. Broncos everywhere!

Not seeing an increase in Broncos around here in Central Maryland (outside D.C.). However, I have seen two separate tractor-trailer loads of Jeep Wranglers in the past two weeks headed for the nearby Jeep dealership (Mt. Airy, MD).
  4. Bronco Badlands Build [ Part 1 ] Old Man Emu Lift / Fuel Wheels / BFGoodrich 37" Tires

Well-presented video outlining the kit and installation (front and back). I like that the presenter differentiated the kit components for SAS versus non-SAS and between those vehicles with the front sway bar disconnect versus those without (good attention to detail). For my use-case, two inch...
  5. First Baja Forged Customer Bumper and Roadtrip

How much does your new bumper weigh (w/o the winch mounted)? Looks like it could be lighter than the factory HD modular bumper.
  6. Magruder Corridor trip with my 2021 Badlands and 2 adventure bikes

Great to read about a Badlands owner "getting after it" in the great outdoors. Quick questions about your JCR roof rack: I see you ordered the rack with the light bar cut out. Any issues mounting your light bar to this rack? (And, is that the Heretic 22" light bar, by chance?)
  7. Terrible Quandary with 8/15 Approaching

Think you meant "hotsy-totsy" (old 20th-century American slang for "everything is perfect"). ;) Regardless, you're absolutely right, it's awesome news that he received his VIN# and build date after waiting TWO years! 🙌
  8. 7x Offroad Torc SS (Rocklander Trailer) on 40's -- for overlanding and rock crawling

It's okay for use off-roading in N. America but I would't take this trailer outside the U.S overlanding. There's no way you'll find replacement tires in that size overseas in Central / South America, Africa and Asia. 40s are just not the norm for overlanding.
  9. ARB Bumper Line Up for Your Ford Bronco

That's a shame there is no winch accommodation on the Zenith. Really like your styling on that model.
  10. Maryland - Chime in!

Monrovia (in Frederick County). Placed order on 22 DEC 2021 for a 4-dr Badlands (non-SAS) with Century Ford of Mt. Airy. Going to be a long wait due to all the options I specified. But... I did have some fun going to the Ford Bronco Roadeo outside Austin, Texas. Awesome fun day and great...
  11. Maryland Bronco Buyers - Where did you purchase from?

Placed order (and $500 deposit) with Century Ford of Mt. Airy in Frederick County on 22 DEC 2021. (Century Ford in Mt. Airy has been pretty good servicing my wife's 2016 Explorer over the years.) I received my order confirmation email from Ford Motor Co. the very same day. Ordered a 4-door...
  12. Heritage style preview: White powdercoated steel wheels on Rapid Red Black Diamond

Looks fantastic contrasting with the green body. Is this straight-up, basic "white"? Seems to have a very light sand-cast to it... kind of like the old Land Rover Series wheels painted in "Limestone".
  13. Badlands Area 51 wrapped in XPEL Stealth and Ceramic Coated

Normally, the wrap installer will remove the vehicle's badging / decals before wrapping the car with PPF. Then, those items will be placed back in original position on top of the PPF.
  14. Initial Take and 2k Mile Road Trip Home

Great write-up on your experience. On your return to Maryland, where was that vintage Conoco gas station located?
  15. 2.3 MANUAL Bronco pull an Airstream Basecamp?

El Jefe, you ask a great question and some folks here have already provided good data. Let's recap and add one factor that hasn't been discussed: Base Camp 16 (BC20 model weighs too much for the Bronco.) Hitch Weight (w/LP Gas and batteries loaded): 410 lbs Base Weight (w/LP Gas and batteries...
  16. Favorite YouTube channels for Bronco/offroad/overlanding content?

When it comes to true Overlanding (defined as "Vehicle-supported, self-reliant adventure travel, typically outside your native country in remote locations and interacting with other cultures over weeks, months or years.") the two biggest sources that spring to mind are: The Overland Journal...
  17. Super Clean GMRS Radio Install!

Really great explanation of your installation and follow-up detail. Sure looks nice and tidy with the wiring and in-cabin mount. Quick follow-up: What made you choose the Midland MXT275 at 15-watts rather than the MXT400 at 40-watts? Was there some feature on the MXT275 that wasn't available...
  18. Earning Your Patience Patch

If you're either currently wondering when/if your Bronco will be built and delivered or have fortunately "checked the box" on that experience, then you know that the test of patience is truly a virtue. Picking up on this almost universal "rite of passage" for Bronco owners, Archetype Racing...
  19. Tracking My Order (Non-Reservation Holder)

I'm not one of the original 2020 Reservation holders who converted their reservation into an official order. Instead, I walked into a dealership and placed an order for a MY22 Bronco Badlands (non-SAS) on 22 December 2021 with my local small-town dealership in Maryland. I then signed up with...
