I have seen too many posts like this. I look at my top every time I walk by my Bronco, hoping for the best. Everyone with this issue please be vocal and visible. Ford needs to know the scope of the problem… if they don’t handle it well, they need to feel the sting of negative publicity.

Any rattles? Did you use any sound deadening behind sub assembly, or poly fill inside? I bought deadening materials , but don’t have any poly.

So, black with white stripe is the negative for polarity to the sub? Assume from picture you clipped right at dummy speaker, stripped a bit of conduit, and plugged the bare wire end into sub?

My CarPlay works great. Sorry you folks are having trouble. Since the connection between phone and car is fairly basic, the problem may be in your cellular service or phone settings.

I would say yes. Much easier to pop some of the clips without breaking. Also, less likely to scratch up your car. $5 for a set on Amazon.

Is that really all? No wiring/splicing/etc? Do they just plug into an existing wire harness? I have Forscan already.

Installed Mabett speaker pods with 6.75 Kickers, and made Forscan changes to turn off ACM Eq & change rears to full speakers.

You (OP) did better that I did with your deal. Enjoy the ride.

Mostly p&p. I put them in both front and rear. You have to snap off two tabs on each speaker for them to fit (not uncommon). The dash speakers housing also has a thin plastic guide stem that needs to be snapped off. They are not necessary if you ever decide to put original speakers back in...

My message to which you are replying was a direct reply to Eddie, who just said he is waiting to do a big sound upgrade in the future do to high price of what he is planning. I gave him a cheap suggestion to hold him over. But, I am genuinely happy to hear you are happy with your factory system.
