I thought I had read that Ford made a move to Trademark the name Scout....I wonder if they did and if so if they are not a silent partner in any organization using that trademark.

Just completed a road trip from Baltimore to Kiawah Sout Carolina and back in my 2.7 AT SAS BD. Averaged 18.5 running High octane. I was pretty happy with that. Around home I was averaging 17 so adding more highway mileage into the calc it faired better in overall MPG. I also feel that as...
There is a good thread out here if you use search on a small kicker amp that can be installed pretty easily and sits inside your dash behind the glovebox or somewhere in there. People are reporting good results. I may look into it as well...
I had a 4 DR 2.3 MT, Black Diamond 32" Steelies Soft Top and was getting around 22 combined, I have since gotten a 2 DR 2.7 BD SAS Auto MIC Top and I am seeing 17 combined.
I just called an installer near me and they told me they stopped installing windshield protection film (they did not specifically say exoshield) because they have yet to find a product that holds up over time and too many people are bringing their vehicles back a year or two later demanding new...
Century Ford, Mt Airy Maryland....awesome experience.
Not only did they honor MSRP it was an order in which the original order placer bailed. I got very lucky back in August 2021, but i had to take it as is, not the color, engine 2.3 vs 2.7, transmission MT vs AT or 2dr model I wanted. But...

There is a white sticker inside the engine with a barcode on it. It will have details about where the engine was assembled and some other codes. Post a picture of that if possible. It's pretty much right in the center of the engine bay. Look here...
So the all in cost Amp included was 385, plus the piece of scrap plastic for mounting? I was wondering why the kit was so expensive, but sounds like it includes the 4 channel amp from Kicker. Thanks for sharing this, great option to have.
Reminds me of the Jeep Renegade from the late 80's early 90s where they bolted on massive fender flares, body color matched them and charged you a lot more money. I realize there is a lot more substance to the Raptor but those flares don't look right to me. Just can't get that out of my head...
